While editing in the block editor, WordPress does not give you a reliable Add New action after the first publish. You often have to leave the editor and hunt for Add New in the admin menu.
Paginam – Add New Post or Page Button adds an always-visible Add New panel to the Gutenberg document sidebar. One click opens a new item of the same post type you are editing — post, page, or any custom post type that uses the block editor.

Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/paginam-add-new-post-or-page-button/, or install through the Plugins Add New screen. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen.
- Open any post, page, or supported custom post type in the block editor.
- Find the Add New panel in the document sidebar and click Add New.

Which post types are supported?

Any post type that uses the block editor and that the current user can create. Classic-editor post types are not supported in this version.

Does it duplicate the current post?

No. It opens a blank new item of the same post type, just like Add New in the admin menu.

What happens if I have unsaved changes?

The plugin asks for confirmation before leaving the editor so you do not lose work by accident.

Can I hide the donation link?

Yes. The donation link is optional and only appears when a donate URL is configured.
