I downloaded this because I loved the look of the extra features, and was sure it would enhance my pages. Unfortunately, the moment I did, any pages where I wasn’t using the page builder (such as blog posts and the fiction archive – another plugin) started to look really really odd. Formatting went out the window, there were no paragraphs (which if reading something over a few lines long can be very painful). I played around for a bit, put in the < p > codes to highlight paragraphs etc but nothing worked. In the end I had to deactivate it – which was painful as it had made my home page look really good (with the carousel for posts etc on it). If this paragraphing issue can get sorted I will reactivate, but until that point, as I am running an archive for long stories and informative blog posts contributed by people I don’t wish to have access to the back end of the site, I will have to stick with using Quest on its own 🙁

It is so unfortunate that this plugin doesn’t allow one of the most basic layout options, a 2/3 column. It is as basic as having a text-block widget. I was looking for something light-weight and because of this one reason, this plugin fails.

I have still a lot of problems with this new page builder. It looks better but has a lot of bugs. Don’t use it till the developer makes it work right!

This plug is a must if you’re using fishpig with magento. You can add structure to your posts and it works well without causing conflicts. Local magento theme css files can even override theme styles so you don’t need to worry about updates on your wordpress installation. The only thing I’m bummed about is a lack of column layouts. I need 2/3’s options and I’m hoping that that will be introduced quickly. Thank you for the great software! You ROCK!
