Source code

All the JavaScript and CSS files of the plugin are included in readable, non-minified form in the assets folder; no build step is used.

External services

The plugin works without any external service. The services below are contacted only when the site administrator configures or uses the corresponding feature.

Data sent: the OAuth client ID and secret entered by the administrator, the authorization code and tokens, the Search Console property and, for an inspection, the URL being checked. Sent when the administrator connects the account, refreshes the statistics or inspects a URL.

IndexNow

Used to tell search engines that a public page was published or updated.
Data sent: the address of the published page, the site host and the IndexNow key entered by the administrator, to https://api.indexnow.org. Sent when a public page is published or updated, only after a key has been entered and automatic notifications are enabled.
IndexNow is a protocol operated by Microsoft Bing and other search engines. Documentation: https://www.indexnow.org/documentation – Terms of service: https://www.microsoft.com/servicesagreement – Privacy policy: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

Used to add the analytics or tag manager code chosen by the administrator to the pages of the site.
Data: when a Google Analytics measurement ID or a Google Tag Manager container ID is entered in the settings, the visitors’ browsers load the Google script from www.googletagmanager.com, which collects visit data according to the administrator’s Google configuration. Nothing is loaded when the fields are empty. The site owner is responsible for obtaining visitor consent where required.
Service provided by Google LLC. Terms of service: https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/us/ – Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Microsoft Clarity

Used to add the Microsoft Clarity analytics code chosen by the administrator.
Data: when a Clarity project ID is entered in the settings, the visitors’ browsers load the Clarity script from www.clarity.ms, which records visit data according to the administrator’s Clarity configuration. Nothing is loaded when the field is empty. The site owner is responsible for obtaining visitor consent where required.
Service provided by Microsoft Corporation. Terms of service: https://clarity.microsoft.com/terms – Privacy policy: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement

Slack

Used to send SEO alerts (for example a page that became unreachable) to a Slack channel.
Data sent: the alert text (site name, page addresses and the problem found) to the Slack webhook address entered by the administrator. Sent only when alerts are enabled and a webhook address is entered.
Service provided by Slack Technologies, LLC. Terms of service: https://slack.com/terms-of-service – Privacy policy: https://slack.com/trust/privacy/privacy-policy

Links to testing tools

Some screens show links to Google’s Rich Results Test (https://search.google.com/test/rich-results), PageSpeed Insights (https://pagespeed.web.dev/) and the Facebook Sharing Debugger (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/). These tools open in a new tab only when the administrator clicks the link; nothing is sent automatically.

Privacy

The plugin stores SEO settings, the optional connection keys and tokens listed above, and technical logs (404 log, SEO history) in the WordPress database. It does not track visitors. Data removal on uninstall depends on the “Delete data on uninstall” setting.
