Here are features:

  • Fast full text search
  • Google like query syntax such as (KEYWORD1 OR KEYWORD2) -KEYWORD3
  • Sort by relevance

Here are features to be implemented:

  • Keyword highlight
  • Snippet
  • Auto complete
  • Synonym

Installation

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

  1. Install Mroonga to your MySQL/MariaDB
  2. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/mroonga directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly

Now, the search box uses Mroonga’s full text search features instead of the default LIKE based full text search.
