MorgenCraft Finance gives small WooCommerce stores a practical answer to a basic question: What did my sales actually leave after costs?
The plugin runs entirely inside WordPress. It does not send store, order, or customer data to an external service.
Free features
- Add purchase, production, labor, packaging, and other unit costs to WooCommerce products.
- Calculate net sales after refunds and sales tax.
- Estimate product cost, shipping cost, payment fees, and marketplace commission.
- Subtract monthly advertising and fixed business costs.
- Show monthly profit, profit margin, average order value, and estimated break-even.
- Identify sold products with missing cost information.
- Review the contribution of recent orders.

Calculation notes
- Reports include only the order statuses selected in MorgenCraft Finance settings.
- Net sales are collected sales minus refunds and tax.
- Product costs and per-order variable-cost rates are snapshotted on the order so later product or setting changes do not rewrite historical profit.
- Product costs are multiplied by non-refunded quantity; fully refunded orders are excluded and counted separately.
- Percentage fees are applied to the amount collected from the customer, including tax.
- Monthly profit is net sales minus product costs, average shipping cost, percentage fees, advertising, and fixed costs.
- The free version reports in the WooCommerce store currency. Orders in another currency are excluded and clearly counted.
MorgenCraft Finance is a management estimate, not statutory accounting or tax advice. Confirm official records with your accountant.
Privacy
MorgenCraft Finance does not collect telemetry and does not transmit order or customer data. The only external link is an optional link from the plugin’s own admin page to learn about MorgenCraft Finance Pro.
Installation
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- Upload the MorgenCraft Finance ZIP from Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, or install it from the WordPress.org directory when available.
- Open MorgenCraft Finance > Settings and enter monthly costs and percentage fees.
- Edit WooCommerce products and enter unit costs in the Pricing section.
- Open MorgenCraft Finance to review the current month.

Does the free plugin stop working after a trial?

No. The WordPress.org version is free, fully functional, and has no time limit.

Does it change product prices or stock?

No. MorgenCraft Finance Free only reads WooCommerce orders and stores cost metadata on products. It does not change selling prices, stock, order status, or customer data.

How are refunds handled?

Refunded revenue and refunded tax are removed from the report. When WooCommerce records refunded quantities, the related product cost is also reduced.

Does it support multiple currencies?

The free version reports in the WooCommerce store currency. Orders using another currency are excluded to prevent misleading totals. Multi-currency reporting is planned for MorgenCraft Finance Pro.

Is this accounting software?

No. It is an internal profitability and break-even dashboard. It does not replace bookkeeping, tax filings, or professional accounting advice.
