Description
Merch Factory is an print-on-demand apparel manufacturing and dropshipping fulfillment platform based in India. This plugin connects your WooCommerce store to your Merch Factory account so orders can be fulfilled without you holding stock.
A free Merch Factory account is required. You can create one here and follow the WooCommerce setup guide to connect your store in a few minutes.
How it works
- Design apparel in Merch Factory and publish it to your store, or link products you already have.
- A customer orders from your WooCommerce store.
- Open the order in Merch Factory, choose a courier rate and place it. Production and packing happen at the Merch Factory facility.
- When the parcel ships, the courier, AWB number and tracking link are written back to the WooCommerce order and your customer is notified.
Features
- Live orders page (opt-in): see your orders with printing and shipping status, item images, delivery details and tracking inside WordPress Admin, sync live stock, and jump to your Merch Factory dashboard. Turned off until you enable it.
- Order status column: a Merch Factory column in WooCommerce > Orders shows where each order is, from ready to place through delivered.
- No webhooks to configure: orders are pulled on demand through the official WooCommerce REST API, so it works on shared hosting.
- Courier rates and tracking: choose live courier rates (such as Delhivery, BlueDart, DTDC and Shiprocket) and get tracking synced back automatically.
- Live stock sync: stock levels on your published products follow factory availability.
- HPOS compatible: works with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage and legacy order storage.

External Services
This plugin connects your store to the Merch Factory service (https://www.merchfactory.in), which is required for it to work.
- Live orders page (optional, off by default): once an administrator turns it on, opening Merch Factory > Dashboard & Orders makes a server-side request to https://www.merchfactory.in/api/woocommerce/portal to list your orders with their status. The request contains your store web address and a signature that proves it comes from your store; no passwords, API keys or customer data are sent. The “Sync live stock” button calls https://www.merchfactory.in/api/woocommerce/portal/sync-stock. Nothing is requested until you turn it on, and you can turn it off on the same page. The page also contains plain links to the Merch Factory dashboard.
- Order and tracking sync: Merch Factory reads orders from your store through the WooCommerce REST API, and writes tracking details back to those orders.
