Description
Melal Publisher for Aparat turns public videos from one Aparat channel into WordPress posts.
For each new video it creates a post with the video title and description, embeds the official Aparat player, and downloads the video poster into the Media Library as the featured image. The video file itself is not copied to your site.
Videos that were already imported are skipped, using the public Aparat video id stored on the post. An administrator can run the import immediately or let WordPress Cron repeat it.
This is an independent plugin by Mohammad Reza Rezaei. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Aparat.

This plugin connects to Aparat, a third-party video host, only after an administrator saves a channel username and then tests the channel, publishes videos, or leaves automatic publishing enabled.

What is sent:
- The channel username from the plugin settings, inside an HTTPS request to
www.aparat.com. - A second HTTPS request to Aparat’s image host (
static.cdn.asset.aparat.comorstatic.cdn.asset.aparat.cloud) to download that video’s public poster. - The request user agent identifies WordPress and this plugin. It does not include the WordPress site address, account email, or visitor information.
What is stored locally:
- Public title, description, tags, duration, publish date, video id, and video page URL.
- The poster image, in the Media Library, set as the featured image.
No API key is required because the plugin reads public channel data only. By saving a channel username, the site administrator consents to these requests. Review Aparat’s current rules before enabling the importer.
Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/, or upload the zip from Plugins > Add New Plugin. - Activate Melal Publisher for Aparat.
- Open the Melal Publisher menu and enter the Aparat channel username. For
https://www.aparat.com/example, the username isexample. - Save the settings, use Check channel, then Publish new videos.
WordPress Cron runs the import on the schedule you choose when the site receives visits. If DISABLE_WP_CRON is set, call wp-cron.php from the server cron or use the manual button.

Is this an official Aparat plugin?

No. Melal Publisher for Aparat is made by Mohammad Reza Rezaei at melalweb.com. Aparat does not publish or support this plugin.

Does it download the video file?

No. The post embeds Aparat’s public player. Only the poster image is saved in the Media Library, and it is used as the featured image.

Will the same video be published twice?

No. Each imported post stores the Aparat video id. Later runs skip that video, including videos that are in the Trash.

What data is sent to Aparat?

Only when an administrator tests a channel, runs an import, or WordPress Cron runs the scheduled import. See External services below. Visitors are not tracked and no Aparat account password is required.
