Add a Captcha field to your MailChimp sign-up forms.

This plugin requires you to install the following two plugins:

After installing the plugin, adding the following code to your sign-up forms will render a Google reCAPTCHA field.

Since this plugin depends on the MailChimp for WordPress plugin, you will need to install that first.

Installing the plugin

  1. In your WordPress admin panel, go to Plugins > New Plugin, search for MailChimp for WordPress – Captcha and click “Install now
  2. Alternatively, download the plugin and upload the contents of mc4wp-captcha.zip to your plugins directory, which usually is /wp-content/plugins/.
  3. Activate the plugin
  4. Add the following code to your form, where you want the captcha to appear.
