FAQ

X Feature is not working. What should I do?

Open a ticket here. Describe what isn’t working, what should be happening, and provide the name of the theme you are using.

When I deactivate or uninstall the plugin, will my buttons still work?

Yes…well…sorta. The will be completely functional, but they probably won’t look too pretty. If you deactivate mangobuttons but want to keep all your buttons, you can add this code to your theme’s css file to cause every mango button to appear like a normal link on your site: .mb-button{ background-color:transparent !important; }.

When I deactivate or uninstall the plugin, is all my data deleted?

Currently Mango Buttons does not store any data on your site.

What information (if any) is sent to third-party sites (such as mangobuttons.com)?

By default, no information is sent to mangobuttons.com. You can opt in to receive infrequent product updates, in which case only your email address and website URL are saved to our mailchimp newsletter list.

Reviews

superb little app that is made for us less skilled old codgers

Mango Buttons … an outstanding little plugin which allows you to create CALL TO ACTION buttons and insert them wherever you want.
I use the PREMIUM version which is my donation to the developer though I benefit in many ways.
This app is outstanding for old codgers who are not that skilled with computers for numerous reasons:
1. You install the app transparently; no need for code knowledge; no need for insert code wherever that may be needed…simply install and watch the plugin icon appear on your editing page. Marvellous.
2. Use of the plugin is a no brainer. Simply decide on your button location, click on the Mango button and follow the three step process…button appearance/colour; button text and button URL. Once you have done the 3 steps, bingo, Bob’s your uncle…you’re done. Easy peasy…even I figured it out.
3. Editing buttons…talk about simplicity…double click on the button in your edit window and simply redo the 3 creation steps with your correction.
This developer deserves the highest praise for keeping his plugin amazingly simple in installation and use, yet dynamically efficient in what it does.
Man, if all developers took a couple of pages from this developer, there would be no need for WP gurus to help with support. Lots of lost jobs.
I cannot say enough good things about this plugin.
The premium version lets you do a few more things, but the free version does more than is needed.
Plugins by this developer are simply OUTSTANDING !!
