LupinSync Global Invoices

Description

LupinSync Global Invoices is the global invoicing solution from LupinSync, separate from the India-focused LupinSync Invoices plugin. It is designed for businesses operating across countries, currencies, and tax jurisdictions and connects WordPress/WooCommerce stores to the LupinSync Global Invoices cloud service.

How this differs from LupinSync Invoices

Both plugins are published by the same author (LupinSync) and are separate products:

  • LupinSync Invoices is the India-focused plugin, built around INR and Indian GST invoicing.
  • LupinSync Global Invoices (this plugin) is for international selling: invoices in multiple currencies, a generic tax model (taxable, zero-rated, exempt and non-taxable treatments, plus saved tax codes), and the LupinSync Global Invoices cloud service for invoice issuance and PDF rendering.

Install the one that matches where and how you sell. Each plugin is installed and configured independently.

Use it to create and manage commercial invoices, proforma invoices, customers, payments, recurring schedules, WooCommerce order invoicing, historical import workflows, branded PDF templates, multi-currency amounts, a generic tax engine, secure invoice links, email delivery, API access, and outgoing webhooks — with connection-scoped plan entitlements.

This is not full accounting software, an ERP, a bookkeeping suite, a payment processor, a CRM, or a guarantee of tax compliance for every jurisdiction. It is an invoicing and document workflow for merchants who need professional invoices from WordPress / WooCommerce.

LupinSync cloud account required

Cloud-backed features require a LupinSync account and a secure site connection. Free-plan cloud functionality remains available without a paid subscription. Paid Monthly / Yearly plans unlock additional cloud capabilities for this connected website only (for example advanced templates, automation, and bulk generation).

What the plugin does in WordPress

  • Secure Create Account / Sign In connection flow (no LupinSync password stored in WordPress)
  • Dashboard overview for this connected website
  • Invoice list/detail, create commercial or proforma invoices, void where allowed
  • PDF download / retry, email delivery, and secure invoice links
  • Customer list, create/edit, and invoice history
  • Payment tracking and WooCommerce payment synchronization
  • Recurring schedule monitoring with pause / resume / generate
  • Invoice template gallery (Classic, Minimal, Modern, Executive, Commerce, International)
  • WooCommerce automation and bulk generation (requires WooCommerce)
  • Historical WooCommerce order import workflows (via cloud APIs)
  • Business details, tax codes, numbering, email/PDF, access control, and Plan & Billing

What LupinSync cloud provides

The plugin is a WordPress connector. LupinSync cloud remains the authoritative engine for:

  • Invoice calculation, issuance, voiding, and issued-document snapshots
  • PDF generation and template rendering
  • Multi-currency and generic tax processing
  • Document storage, email delivery, and secure links
  • API and webhook delivery
  • Connection-scoped entitlements and subscription billing for this website
  • WooCommerce order invoice orchestration APIs

PDF templates are rendered in LupinSync cloud. The plugin does not ship a second local PDF engine.

External services

This plugin relies on one external service, LupinSync Global Invoices, operated by Bhoi Enterprises (LupinSync) at https://global-invoices.lupinsync.tech/. Invoices, PDFs and plan status are handled by that service, so the plugin cannot issue invoices without it. Nothing is sent until an administrator connects the site (step 1 below). After that, data is sent only in the situations listed here.

Terms of service: https://global-invoices.lupinsync.tech/terms-and-conditions
Privacy policy: https://global-invoices.lupinsync.tech/privacy-policy

1. Connecting your site (account sign-up / sign-in)

  • When: an administrator clicks Create LupinSync Account, Sign In or Reconnect.
  • Sent: your site address (home URL), site name, plugin version, the admin return URL, and a random one-time state value and proof hash used to complete the authorization securely.
  • Your LupinSync email and password are entered on global-invoices.lupinsync.tech, not in WordPress, and are never sent to or stored by the plugin.
  • On return, the plugin sends the one-time state and proof to receive a site credential. That credential is stored encrypted in your WordPress database and sent with every later request to identify your site.

2. Connection and plan status

  • When: you open the plugin’s Connection or Plan & Billing pages, click Refresh, or use a feature after the cached plan status is more than 15 minutes old.
  • Sent: the site credential only. The service returns connection details and which plan features are available for this website.

3. Invoices, customers, payments and recurring schedules you manage in the plugin

  • When: you create or view invoices, create or edit customers, record a payment, void an invoice, or pause, resume or generate a recurring schedule.
  • Sent: the details you enter or act on. For customers: name, email, address, country, and tax registration number if you add one. For invoices: customer, currency, line descriptions, quantities, prices, taxes, payment terms and notes. For payments: amount, currency, date, method and reference.

4. WooCommerce orders (only when WooCommerce is active)

  • When: you click Create invoice on an order, run bulk or historical generation, or, if you turn on Order Automation, when an order reaches one of the statuses you selected. Payment status is synced when a WooCommerce payment completes for an order that already has a LupinSync invoice.
  • Sent: the order number and ID, the buyer’s name, email, phone, and billing and shipping addresses, line item names, quantities, prices, taxes, shipping lines, order currency, the customer’s order note (if any), and the payment method title and transaction ID. Payment sync sends the payment method title, transaction ID, amount and date.
  • Not sent: card numbers or other payment credentials. The plugin does not read them from WooCommerce.

5. PDFs, secure links and email delivery

  • When: you download or retry a PDF, create a secure invoice link, send an invoice by email, or have WooCommerce attach invoice PDFs to order emails (if enabled in Email & PDF).
  • Sent: the invoice ID. The service returns the PDF or link. Invoice emails are sent by the service to the customer email already stored on the invoice.

6. Business settings and branding

  • When: you open or save Business Details, Tax Information, Tax Codes, Invoice Numbering or Templates, or upload or remove a logo.
  • Sent: the settings you save (business name, address, tax numbers, tax codes, numbering format, selected template) and, for logo upload, the image file you choose.

7. Template previews

  • When: an administrator opens the plugin’s Templates page.
  • The template list is loaded with the site credential. Template thumbnail images and sample PDFs are then loaded by your browser directly from https://global-invoices.lupinsync.tech/api/v1/public/templates/. Those requests contain only what any browser sends when loading an image (such as IP address and user agent). No store, order or customer data is included, and the samples contain fictional demo data.

Subscription billing (Razorpay)

Paid Monthly and Yearly plans are purchased on LupinSync’s own billing pages, which open in your browser from Plan & Billing. Payment is processed there by Razorpay on behalf of LupinSync. The WordPress plugin does not load Razorpay scripts, does not contact Razorpay, and never sends your WooCommerce customers’ payment details to Razorpay or to LupinSync.

The plugin does not use analytics, tracking or advertising services.

Privacy / data stored in WordPress

WordPress stores an encrypted site credential and public connection metadata in options (plus local automation/generation job options). Invoice, customer, payment, and PDF document records for cloud workflows are processed/stored in your LupinSync account for the connected website. See https://global-invoices.lupinsync.tech/privacy-policy

Uninstall

Uninstalling deletes local WordPress options (connection metadata, encrypted site credential cache, entitlement cache, automation/generation job options). It does not delete your LupinSync cloud account, invoices, customers, or PDFs.

Installation

  1. Upload the lupinsync-global-invoices folder to /wp-content/plugins/ or install the ZIP through Plugins Add New.
  2. Activate the plugin.
  3. For store automation, ensure WooCommerce is active.
  4. Open LupinSync Global Invoices in the WordPress admin sidebar.
  5. Choose Create LupinSync Account or Sign In, then authorize this website.
  6. Configure Business Details, Tax, Numbering, Templates, Automation, Email & PDF, and Plan & Billing as needed.

FAQ

Do I need a LupinSync account?

Yes, for cloud-backed invoicing, PDFs, delivery, entitlements, API, and webhooks. Connection uses a secure browser authorization flow; your LupinSync password is not stored in WordPress.

Does this work without WooCommerce?

You can connect the site and use Plan & Billing / Connection without WooCommerce. Order automation, payment sync from WooCommerce, bulk generation, and historical import require WooCommerce.

Is billing account-wide?

No. Plans and subscriptions are per connected WordPress website.

Where are PDFs generated?

In LupinSync cloud. The plugin downloads and displays cloud-generated PDFs.

Is this accounting or tax-compliance software?

No. It is an invoicing and document workflow with a generic tax engine. It does not replace your accountant or guarantee compliance for every country.
