Privacy
The free plugin does not send telemetry or usage tracking data.
Language packs are included as local JSON data. Installing or refreshing a bundled pack makes no external request. Local translations and JSON import/export remain available.
If an optional integration is added through a separate add-on, that add-on is responsible for documenting what service it connects to and what data is sent.
External services
Typography uses system fonts and bundled assets. This plugin does not request Google Fonts.
Optional QR-code support: when a page containing a book QR image is viewed, the visitor’s browser requests the image from api.qrserver.com. The request sends the book permalink, image dimensions, IP address, and standard HTTP request information. It generates the displayed QR image and does not send accounts or passwords. API documentation, privacy policy, terms of service.
Language packs use bundled local files and do not connect to an external translation service.
Optional affiliate-link health checks contact only the retailer URLs configured by the site administrator. When enabled, scheduled or manually requested checks send the offer URL, the site’s server IP address, and a plugin user-agent to those retailers to test link availability. They do not transmit customer accounts or catalogue records. Each configured retailer is responsible for its own terms and privacy policy.
JSON URL import retrieves the JSON file explicitly selected by an authorized administrator. That request sends the file URL and standard HTTP request information to its host. No fixed third-party import service or account is required. The import tutorial opens YouTube only when its link is clicked; no video or tracking iframe is loaded by the plugin.
Source Code
The book gallery block source is included in blocks/book-gallery/src/index.js. To rebuild it, run npm install and npm run build inside blocks/book-gallery.
Select2 4.0.13 is bundled under the legacy selectize.js and selectize.css filenames. Its readable JavaScript, styles, and MIT license are available in the Select2 4.0.13 source. Slick 1.8.1 is distributed with its readable source in frontend/assets/js/slick.js.
