LeoSearch helps shoppers find suitable WooCommerce products using natural-language search and a conversational shopping assistant. It supports OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek and compatible providers, catalog-grounded recommendations, analytics, merchandising, multilingual stores and authenticated app integrations.

External services

LeoSearch can connect to third-party AI provider APIs when a store administrator selects a provider and saves that provider’s API key. These requests are used to interpret shopper search intent and assistant messages. Product results are retrieved from the local WooCommerce catalog.

OpenAI: When OpenAI is selected, LeoSearch sends the shopper’s search query or assistant message, recent assistant conversation context, and a limited set of indexed WooCommerce product information needed to answer the request. Requests are sent only when a shopper uses AI search or the shopping assistant, or when an administrator tests the saved connection. OpenAI provides this service. Custom compatible API: When a custom API endpoint is configured, LeoSearch sends the same request data to the HTTPS endpoint entered by the site administrator. The site administrator is responsible for reviewing the terms and privacy policy of that custom provider before enabling it.

Upload and activate the plugin.
