Bold Front Desk is a mobile-first reception dashboard for MotoPress Hotel Booking, WP Hotel Booking by ThimPress and VikBooking. Independent hotel, bed and breakfast, guesthouse and vacation rental owners can check arrivals, guests in house, departures and reservations from one focused interface.

Use your existing booking system and WordPress login. Bold Front Desk Lite reads its booking information without changing reservations, payments, rooms or booking-engine settings. No external API keys or separate booking database are required.

Supported booking engines

• MotoPress Hotel Booking Lite/Premium — read-only booking and guest details, stored payment information and a calendar of assigned physical rooms. MotoPress Hotel Booking Lite.
• WP Hotel Booking by ThimPress, 2.3.4+ — works with the free plugin. Read native bookings, guest details, room types, quantities, totals and individual stay dates. Paid and Outstanding show Not available because payment allocations are not supported by this connector. WP Hotel Booking.
• VikBooking, 1.8.15+ — works with the free plugin. Read stored guest details, room lines, dates and total/paid/outstanding amounts where recorded. Split stays retain individual room dates. Cancelled reservations and closures are excluded. No Pro purchase is required for this connector; Pro-specific integration has not been verified. VikBooking Hotel Booking Engine & PMS.

The WP Hotel Booking and VikBooking calendars are booking timelines, with separate rows for booked room lines. Overlapping reservations remain visible. Empty cells do not indicate room availability; room allocation and availability remain in the selected booking system. Missing guest quantities and amounts remain explicitly unknown. These two connectors support up to 10,000 active bookings; larger datasets return an explicit error.

Bold Front Desk is an independent companion plugin by Le Moulin Bold Plugins. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by MotoPress, ThimPress or VikBooking. It does not create bookings, take payments, send guest emails or provide its own channel manager.

Support

Ask questions or report an issue in the Bold Front Desk support forum. Include the Front Desk version, selected booking engine and its version, WordPress/PHP versions, the affected screen and steps to reproduce. Remove guest names, email addresses and other personal details from public screenshots or logs. Problems with native booking availability, checkout or payment gateways should also be checked in the booking engine itself.

Privacy

Bold Front Desk displays data already stored by the selected booking engine. It does not transmit booking or guest data to Le Moulin Bold Plugins and does not create its own booking database. Booking-data REST responses use private, no-store headers. The service worker does not cache guest or booking data for offline access.
