KODENZO Commerce Health scans your WordPress and WooCommerce store against a set of configuration, reliability, performance, database, and security diagnostics, and produces a clear health score with plain-language recommendations.

- 30 diagnostic checks across seven categories — Commerce, Reliability, Performance, Database, Configuration, Security, and Integrations — covering WooCommerce setup and configuration, storefront reachability, shipping and tax configuration, WP-Cron and Action Scheduler health, object cache and autoloaded options size, database connectivity and required tables, PHP version and memory limits, SSL and URL consistency, search engine visibility, WordPress core and plugin update status, and payment gateway configuration.
- A clear health score — every scan produces an overall 0-100 score, a Healthy/Attention/Unhealthy/Critical status, and a per-category breakdown, plus a score trend chart across recent scans.
- Issue tracking — findings are deduplicated into persistent issues with a Detected/Active/Resolved/Reopened lifecycle, so the same underlying problem is tracked across scans instead of being reported as new every time. Each issue explains why it matters, what was found, and what to do about it.
- A full admin dashboard — Overview, Diagnostics (filterable by category), Issues (filterable by severity), Scan history, Settings, and a “What’s coming” preview of planned Pro features, all under a single “KODENZO Commerce Health” menu in wp-admin.
- Works with or without WooCommerce — WooCommerce-dependent checks report “Not applicable” rather than failing if WooCommerce isn’t installed or active; every other check still runs normally.
- Configurable Settings — scan-history retention, an optional critical-issue email alert with a test-email button, and an opt-in “delete data on uninstall” toggle (off by default, so nothing is removed unless you explicitly turn it on).
- Read-only — every diagnostic only reads your site’s configuration; the plugin never modifies settings, content, or WooCommerce data.
- No telemetry — no data is sent to Kodenzo or anyone else. The only outbound request the plugin makes is a single diagnostic check of your own site’s homepage.

Installation
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/kodenzo-commerce-healthdirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Look for the new “KODENZO Commerce Health” menu item in your wp-admin sidebar, and click “Scan store” on the Overview screen to run your first scan.

Does KODENZO Commerce Health require WooCommerce?

No. KODENZO Commerce Health works on any WordPress site. Checks that specifically depend on WooCommerce (payment gateways, checkout configuration, WooCommerce database tables, etc.) report as “Not applicable” if WooCommerce isn’t installed or active, rather than failing — the rest of the checks (WordPress version, PHP configuration, SSL, WP-Cron, database connectivity, and more) still run normally.

Does running a scan change anything on my site?

No. Every diagnostic is read-only. KODENZO Commerce Health only reads your site’s configuration to report findings — it never modifies settings, content, WooCommerce data, or anything else.

Does KODENZO Commerce Health send any data to Kodenzo or anyone else?

No Kodenzo telemetry, ever. All scan results, issues, and settings are stored only in your own WordPress database, and KODENZO Commerce Health never collects or transmits your site or user data to Kodenzo or anyone else.
That’s a different question from whether the plugin makes any network request at all — it makes exactly one, and it’s diagnostic, not telemetry. The “Storefront Reachable” check requests your own site’s homepage to confirm it’s actually responding to visitors; it never contacts a third-party destination, and nothing about the result is sent anywhere outside your own database. Separately, WordPress core runs its own routine version and plugin update checks on its own schedule — that’s native WordPress behavior that happens whether or not KODENZO Commerce Health is installed, not something this plugin initiates.
The “Explore Pro” link on the “What’s coming” page simply opens kodenzo.com in a new browser tab when clicked — nothing is sent when you click it.

What happens to my scan history and settings if I uninstall the plugin?

By default, nothing is deleted. Your scan history, issues, and settings remain in the database even after uninstalling, in case you reinstall later. Data is only removed on uninstall if you’ve explicitly turned on “Delete KODENZO Commerce Health data when uninstalling” on the Settings screen first — off by default.

Is there a paid or Pro version?

Not yet. The “What’s coming” page previews features planned for a future Pro version (a multi-site cloud dashboard, automated remediation, agency-branded client reports, and more). This Free plugin has no locked, trial-limited, or artificially restricted functionality — everything described above is fully included.
