Description
EU rules on announced price reductions generally require the lowest price charged during at least the 30 days before the reduction. 30-Day Price History records product prices and displays that reference when a complete recorded history is available.
30-Day Price History records your prices and shows the notice for you:
- Automatic history — saved product price changes are recorded in a dedicated table, separately for simple products and each variation.
- Prior-price reference — when a sale price changes, the plugin records the lowest price charged in the preceding 30 days. Earlier promotions in that period count; the new sale price does not.
- Automatic display — “Lowest price in the 30 days before this reduction: €X” appears while a sale is active and the full lookback is known. The text is translatable and editable. A variable product shows a reference only for the selected variation.
- Imports and scheduled sales covered — CSV imports, the REST API and WooCommerce’s scheduled sales save products through the same API, so they are recorded too.
- Lightweight — a snapshot is stored only when prices actually change; records older than 90 days are purged automatically (the latest record of each product is always kept).
Price tracking starts on activation; past prices cannot be reconstructed. A sale already running at activation, or one that begins before a product has a complete 30-day history, has no automatic reference notice. The settings page explains this and shows how many current sales lack a reference. Merchants must handle their price announcements independently until a complete history is available for a later price change.
National rules and exceptions differ. This plugin does not guarantee legal compliance. Prices changed on the fly by dynamic pricing plugins (per role, per quantity) cannot be tracked.

Installation
- Install and activate the plugin (WooCommerce must be active).
- Current prices are recorded automatically as the starting point. Earlier prices are unknown.
- Go to WooCommerce 30-Day Prices to review coverage and edit the notice text.

When does the notice appear?

Only when a simple product or selected variation is on sale and its recorded history covers the complete 30 days before the current sale price change. The reference remains fixed until the sale price changes again.

Can it show a 30-day reference immediately after installation?

No. The plugin cannot reconstruct prices charged before activation. Existing sales and new reductions with incomplete recorded history do not receive an automatic notice. After 30 days of continuous tracking for a product, a later sale price change can have a complete reference. Merchants remain responsible for any required price information in the meantime.

How do variable products work?

Each variation has its own history and reference. The parent price range does not show a single reference across different variations; a selected variation can show its own notice.

What about scheduled sales and imports?

They are covered: scheduled sales, CSV imports and REST API updates all save products through the WooCommerce API, which the plugin listens to.

Does it work with dynamic pricing plugins?

No: prices computed on the fly (per user role, per quantity) are not stored on the product and cannot be tracked. Only the product’s own prices are recorded.

Where is the data stored?

In its own table (
{prefix}jeytech_tdph_prices), never in serialized post meta. Uninstalling the plugin removes the table and the settings. -
Does it work with HPOS and the Checkout block?
