Description

jassn 404 Monitor is a complete solution to track and manage your site’s 404 errors. It logs broken links, lets you create redirects, and provides a custom 404 page with three built-in templates.

Features

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install directly via the WordPress plugin repository.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
  3. Go to the new 404 Monitor menu in the WordPress admin sidebar to configure.

FAQ

Does this plugin work with caching plugins?

Yes. 404 logging and redirects are processed before the cache is served, so it works with most caching plugins.

Can I use my own design for the 404 page?

You can choose from the three built-in templates (Default, Modern, Minimal). Each template can be styled further using the included CSS file.

How do I see the 404 logs?

Go to 404 Monitor 404 Logs in your admin menu. You can view all logged errors, see device and OS details, and clear the logs.

Does the plugin store IP addresses?

The plugin logs IP addresses for diagnostic purposes. You can modify the logger to anonymise or disable IP logging if needed.
