Installation

  1. Install and activate the Intelligent Glossary Engine plugin.

  2. In your WordPress Admin Dashboard, navigate to Glossary Add New Term.

  3. Enter the glossary term in the Add Title field.

  4. Complete the Glossary Details fields. The Translation field is recommended as it serves as the primary definition displayed to users.

  5. Add content to any of the available definition fields, such as:

  • Translation
  • Technical Definition
  • Linguistic Definition
  • Specialist Practice
  • Why It Matters
  • Common Misunderstandings
  • Related Terms

    Note: Only fields containing content will be displayed on the frontend glossary. Empty fields are automatically hidden.

  1. Click Publish to save the glossary term.

  2. Create a new page or edit an existing page and insert the following shortcode:

    [mhige_glossary]

  3. Publish or update the page.

  4. Visit the page to view your searchable glossary with A-Z filtering and expandable term definitions.
