Inserato Stellenanzeigen

Description

Inserato Stellenanzeigen turns job openings into structured content. Each opening is entered in defined fields and rendered in a fixed layout, so every job ad on your site looks the same – no matter who writes it.

Everything described here works anywhere, without a licence key and with no limit on the number of openings. Only the optional distribution to a job platform is a separate service, and it is currently available to companies based in Switzerland only.

Layouts and output

  • Four layouts – Modern, a responsive web layout with header image, key facts and content blocks; Classic A4, a traditional Swiss job advertisement; Block, a wide image header with the logo beside it and a second image next to the introduction; and Banner, a full-width image band carrying your claim and logo. Set globally, per template, per opening or in the shortcode.
  • PDF – every ad opens as an A4 print view and can be saved as a real, text-based PDF from the browser’s print dialog. No PDF library, no external service.
  • Overview list – [swiss_jobs] shows all published openings, optionally split by department, workplace, occupational field or workload, in one of four modes: a list linking to the job page, a list opening a popup, an accordion that expands inline (without JavaScript), or all ads in full.
  • Blocks and page builders – “Job list” and “Single job” as blocks for the block editor and as elements for WPBakery and Elementor, with the same options and output as the shortcodes. The page-builder elements only load when that builder is installed.

Writing job ads

  • Content blocks – introduction, responsibilities, profile, what you offer, and three freely named extra blocks, each with its own heading. Bold, italic, links and bullet lists – nothing more, because the fixed layout is the point.
  • Templates – layout, prefilled fields and, per block, visibility, position, title and default text. A new opening is filled from the default template automatically.
  • Text blocks – a library of reusable texts per field, inserted with Append or Replace.
  • Contact details per department – kept once under Settings and picked on the job.
  • Call-to-action buttons – two extra buttons with your own label and URL next to “Apply now”.
  • Typography – font, size, weight, style and colour per text role. Only fonts already on the visitor’s device are used; nothing is loaded from elsewhere.

Applications

The application form sends each application with its attachments by e-mail to the address you set, and the applicant receives a confirmation whose wording you control. A copy is kept in WordPress only if the e-mail could not be delivered – or always, or never, as you choose. A daily clean-up deletes stored applications together with their attachments once the retention period has passed (90 days by default). You decide which users may see stored applications. They are included in the WordPress tools for exporting and erasing personal data, and the plugin suggests a matching section for your privacy policy.

Four languages

German, French, Italian and English. The admin follows the WordPress language; the labels inside an ad follow the language of that ad – a French opening shows “Vos tâches” and “Postuler” even on a German site.

Optional: distribution to a job platform

With a licence key from job-dispo.ch, published openings are also transferred to that platform, updated there when they change, and taken offline when they are unpublished or deleted. Each opening has its own checkbox, and the automatic transfer stays off until you switch it on.

To start there is a free trial offer. It applies once per company and ends by itself – no subscription follows and there is nothing to cancel. After that there are annual tiers that renew unless cancelled; you can cancel from within the plugin at any time, effective at the end of the paid term. Prices and trial terms are set by the platform and shown on the order screen.

External services

This plugin can connect to one external service: the job platform Job-Dispo at https://job-dispo.ch. Terms of use and privacy policy: https://job-dispo.ch/rechtliches/ (part 1 terms, part 2 privacy policy).

Requests go over HTTPS to https://job-dispo.ch, or to another address if you enter one as “API endpoint” under Job openings Settings. Nothing about your visitors or applicants is ever sent, the plugin does not track visitors, and it sets no cookies.

  • Viewing the offer – only when you click “Fetch conditions” on Job openings Order Pro. The plugin then fetches the platform’s current tiers, prices, trial terms, job categories and the addresses of its terms and privacy policy, and sends only the plugin version and your site address (in the user-agent header). Without that click nothing is sent: the screen shows the plugin’s own figures. Never on the front end, never in the background.
  • Ordering – the billing details you enter: company, contact person, street, postal code, town, canton, e-mail and, optionally, the UID/VAT number, together with the chosen tier, the admin language, your site address and name, and the plugin version. No payment data is collected; the invoice arrives by e-mail.

Once a licence key is entered, the following requests carry the licence key, your site address and name, and the plugin version:

  • Job openings – when an opening is published, updated, unpublished, trashed or deleted, but only if “Automatic transfer” is switched on (it is off by default) and the opening’s own checkbox is ticked; or when you click “Transfer now”. Sent: title, language, job category, workload, department, location, all content blocks, the name of the contact person, the application link or address, the extra buttons, the featured-image URL, the publication and modification dates and the URL of the opening.
  • Status – when you click “Test connection”, after you order or change the subscription, and at most every six hours while someone views the job list in the admin. The answer says how long each opening runs on the platform.
  • Cancellation and highlights – only when you click the corresponding button; a highlight order also carries the number of the opening.

FAQ

Do I need a licence key?

Only for the distribution to the job platform. Everything else works without one, with no limit on the number of openings.

Can I use the plugin outside Switzerland?

Yes – everything except the distribution, which is currently offered to companies based in Switzerland only. An invoicing address outside Switzerland is rejected when ordering.

How does the free trial end?

By itself. No subscription follows, no invoice arrives and there is nothing to cancel. The opening is taken off the platform and stays on your own site.

Where do I switch the list to popup or accordion?

In the block itself: select it and use the “Display” dropdown at the top. With the shortcode: [swiss_jobs modus="popup"] or modus="akkordeon".

What happens to my data when I delete the plugin?

Settings, billing details and stored applications with their attachments are always removed – without the plugin, nothing would delete applications once their retention period ends. Jobs, templates and text blocks stay unless you tick the corresponding option under Settings.

Why is the block editor switched off for job openings?

Because a job ad should not be designed freely. Defined fields keep the layout reliable and every ad consistent.

Will my theme break the layout?

Rarely. The plugin uses its own namespace and resets the relevant styles, so an ad keeps its layout in almost any theme.
