InForge – White Label Client Intake & Quote Form

Description

A “Contact us” box collects a name, an email and one vague sentence. Then you call back to find out what the person actually wants, and build the quote by hand — by which time they have two other numbers.

This plugin puts your InForge client intake form on your own site instead. A visitor describes their job, answers the questions you chose for your trade, and it arrives in your InForge pipeline as an itemized, priced proposal — with a scope of work your client can e-sign and pay a deposit on.

It works at 9pm on a Sunday, which is when a good share of enquiries actually arrive.

What the plugin does

  • Adds an InForge Intake Form block for the editor
  • Adds an [inforge_intake] shortcode for classic editors, widgets and page builders
  • Resizes the form to fit its content, so it never grows its own scrollbar
  • Lets you override the form or its starting height per block

What the plugin does not do

  • It does not store leads in WordPress. Submissions go to InForge.
  • It does not send anything from your server.
  • It does not require an API key.
  • It does not track your visitors or phone home.

You need an InForge account

This plugin displays a form hosted by InForge; it is not a standalone form builder. The questions, the pricing and the submitted leads all live in your InForge account. There is a free plan, and the intake form works on it.

External services

This plugin embeds a form served by InForge (https://www.inforge.io), a service operated by Arrowtrack Solutions LLC.

What is loaded: the page at https://www.inforge.io/start/<your-token> is loaded in an iframe, in your visitor’s browser, wherever you place the block or shortcode. Your web server does not contact InForge at any point.

What data is transmitted: whatever your visitor types into the form — typically their name, email, company, and a description of the work they want — is submitted directly from their browser to InForge. As with any embedded content, InForge also receives the request metadata a browser normally sends, such as IP address and user agent. This plugin sends no data of its own, and stores no submissions in WordPress.

When: only on pages where you have placed the block or shortcode, and only when a visitor loads that page.

FAQ

Do I need a paid InForge plan?

No. The intake form works on the free plan. Free accounts show a small “Quote form by InForge” line under the form and can keep one project open at a time — further submissions are still captured and wait in your pipeline. Paid plans remove the line and raise the limit.

Where do the submissions go?

Into your InForge pipeline, as priced proposals. Nothing is stored in WordPress, so uninstalling this plugin never loses a lead.

Can I put the form on more than one page?

Yes. Use the block or shortcode as many times as you like. Each one resizes independently.

Can I use a different form on different pages?

Yes — set a token on the individual block, or pass one to the shortcode: [inforge_intake token="..."].

The form is cut off or has its own scrollbar.

The form reports its height to the page so the frame can grow. If something on your site blocks that, raise Starting height in the settings so the form fits without scrolling.

Does this work with page builders?

Yes. Any builder that accepts a shortcode will render it.
