Description

IndiaTVDNA Sales Autopilot Free is a self-hosted WooCommerce sales toolkit. Its Free modules are usable without an account or license. Every original admin tab remains accessible.

Included Free features:

The Pro code is NOT included in this WordPress.org plugin. Its upgrade badges and visible form previews link to the developer website, https://indiatvdna.com/ . They do not run Pro features or make background requests. These are not time-limited trials or paid gates on shipped Free functionality. The Pro add-on is a separately distributed product. Clicking Buy Pro leaves WordPress and visits the developer’s site. No tracking is performed by that link.

Upgrade safety

The Free ZIP retains the same database/table prefix as the pre-release plugin, but the WordPress.org slug is a separate plugin path. Always back up files and the database first. If the earlier complete edition had premium automations, broadcasts or auto winner jobs configured, they will not execute in Free. Keep a copy of the earlier complete ZIP, and do not delete data on uninstall. For Pro add-on migration, restore paid functionality from a separately installed compatible add-on.

Marketing consent & privacy

Promotional win-back, automated emails and account-based cart recovery require explicit, verified marketing consent in the CRM.
The public cart endpoint stores guest carts anonymously; guest cart-recovery emails are not sent until a secure, verified guest opt-in flow is implemented. An entered checkout email does not prove ownership or consent.
Store administrators must collect and retain consent lawfully. Sending transactional WooCommerce core order emails is not changed.

Upgrading from a pre-release ZIP

The WordPress.org submission uses the approved indiatvdna-sales-autopilot-for-woocommerce directory and text domain. This is a new plugin submission, not an in-place update of the older plugin.
Deactivate the old pre-release plugin before activating this one to avoid loading duplicate PHP classes; take a full site and database backup first. Do not uninstall with the remove-all-data option enabled. Existing itdna_wsa_ options and database tables are retained when migrating the code.

External services

The plugin does not contact IndiaTVDNA servers for telemetry or license validation. External services below are contacted only when the site administrator explicitly configures/enables the related feature.

Used only when Google Address Autocomplete is enabled and a Google Places API key is saved. The visitor’s browser loads Google Maps JavaScript and address/autocomplete requests are sent to Google.

Administrator-configured SMS and webhooks

SMS actions send the destination phone number and message text to the webhook URL configured by the administrator. Generic webhook actions send the workflow payload to the URL explicitly configured in that action. The plugin does not select a provider; the site’s administrator is responsible for the chosen service and its terms/privacy policy.

Privacy

Depending on enabled features, the plugin can store cart recovery data, customer/contact details, automation history, action execution state, funnel/broadcast events, suppression status and aggregate revenue metrics in the site’s WordPress database. Optional cart/checkout runtime sampling is disabled by default; when enabled it stores only aggregate request timing, query count and memory-delta samples locally, rate-limited to one sample per five minutes, without customer identifiers or cart contents. Funnel A/B attribution uses a first-party cookie and stores a one-way hash derived from request metadata rather than raw IP/user-agent values in the funnel event table.

Email broadcast tracking can use a tracking image and signed click/unsubscribe links. These features should be used only when appropriate for the site’s consent and privacy requirements. WordPress privacy exporter/eraser integrations are included for supported plugin data. Abandoned-cart capture defaults to off on new installations.

Provider webhook endpoints

When explicitly configured by the store owner, Brevo, SendGrid or Postmark may POST delivery events to this WordPress site. The plugin validates provider-specific authentication before accepting events and stores normalized event metadata locally. Hard bounces, spam complaints and unsubscribes may be added to the local suppression list.

• Brevo: Bearer token authentication configured on the Brevo webhook.
• SendGrid: signed Event Webhook verification using the SendGrid public ECDSA key.
• Postmark: HTTP Basic Authentication configured on the Postmark webhook.

JavaScript source

All JavaScript in assets/js/ is unminified, human-readable and directly editable source code. No npm dependencies, proprietary tooling, build script, obfuscation or compilation are required to maintain or run the JavaScript. Development-only duplicate JavaScript files and build utilities are deliberately excluded from the WordPress.org distribution.

WooCommerce dependency

WooCommerce is required for this plugin’s sales features. The main plugin PHP file declares Requires Plugins: woocommerce so that WordPress 6.5+ checks installation and activation of WooCommerce. Defensive checks also keep WooCommerce-dependent features dormant if the dependency is unavailable on a legacy or manually deployed installation.
