Installation
Automatic Installation from the WordPress Dashboard
- Login to your admin panel
- Navigate to Plugins -> Add New
- Search Hulk Phone Guard for WooCommerce
- Click install and activate respectively.
Manual Installation from the WordPress Dashboard
If your server is not connected to the Internet, then you can use this method
- Download the plugin. A ZIP file will be downloaded.
- Login to your site’s admin panel and navigate to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload.
- Click choose file, select the plugin file and click install
Install Using FTP
If you are unable to use any of the methods due to internet connectivity and file permission issues, then you can use this method
- Download the plugin. A ZIP file will be downloaded.
- Unzip the file.
- Launch your favorite FTP client. Such as FileZilla, FireFTP, CyberDuck etc. If you are a more advanced user, then you can use SSH too.
- Upload the folder to wp-content/plugins/
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to Plugins -> Installed
- Activate the plugin

No. This plugin is designed specifically for the modern WooCommerce block-based checkout.

Can I choose which countries customers can select from?

Yes. You can limit the list to specific countries, exclude certain countries, and control the initial country and its ordering directly from the settings page.

Can I customize the validation error messages?

Yes. Every validation error (too short, too long, invalid country code, invalid number, invalid type) can be customized from the settings page.

Where is the phone number validated?

The plugin validates phone numbers on the block-based checkout page and on the My Account > Edit Address page, so customers get the same validation everywhere they update their number.

How does the duplicate phone warning work?

When editing an order in the admin, the plugin checks whether the billing phone already appears on other orders (within the last year, up to 20 results) and shows a warning listing those orders, so you can investigate suspicious or repeated phone numbers. Orders from the same customer are excluded from the warning.

What phone number formats are supported?

The plugin uses Google’s libphonenumber library to validate and format numbers according to international standards. It supports E.164, International, National, and RFC3966 display formats.

Can I allow customers to checkout with invalid numbers?

Yes. The “Always allow checkout” setting lets customers complete their order even if the phone number fails validation. Invalid numbers are still logged for admin review.
