Description
Housing Market CRM Connect links an agent’s or brokerage’s existing WordPress website to Housing Market CRM and the Housing Market property portals. It needs a free Housing Market account and does nothing until an administrator presses “Connect to Housing Market”.
What you get
- Your existing properties imported once. The import wizard detects Houzez, Real Homes, WP Residence, Estatik, Essential Real Estate, Easy Property Listings and plain custom post types, shows a preview and a validation report (missing price, missing location, missing photos), then copies your listings and their photos into Housing Market CRM in the background. Running it again never creates duplicates. Your original posts are never deleted: you choose to keep them, turn them into drafts, or redirect their old addresses (301) to the new pages so you keep your search ranking.
- Your site shows properties from the CRM. Search-engine friendly property pages on your own domain (
/properties/your-listing/), with schema.org data, Open Graph tags and a sitemap, plus blocks and shortcodes: property grid with filters and pagination, search bar, featured strip, property detail, agent card and enquiry form. The CRM is the single master copy. Pages stay fast and keep working if the CRM is briefly unreachable. - Every enquiry lands in the CRM as a lead linked to the property, with the source and your site address. Works with the built-in enquiry form, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms and Elementor Forms. Spam protection: honeypot, time trap, rate limiting and optional Cloudflare Turnstile or Google reCAPTCHA.
- Retargeting pixel: currently updating. Not available yet: the setting is shown disabled and no pixel or consent banner is loaded. Once launched it will be optional (off by default, consent first) and work with Complianz, CookieYes, Cookiebot or a basic built-in banner.
- Promote this property links open “Promote with Housing Market Ads” in Housing Market CRM with the listing preselected. Promoting starts from the listing’s country portal copy, so the link is offered for properties published on a country portal.
The plugin is free. Your listings and leads are kept in Housing Market CRM, a hosted service. Connecting, importing, showing properties (including the property location and similar-properties blocks) and receiving leads are free. A few capabilities that run on the Housing Market CRM service (more than one connected website, publishing to a country property portal, two-way sync) depend on your CRM plan, and the plugin tells you what your plan includes.
External services
This plugin is an interface to Housing Market CRM, a hosted service run by Housing Market (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (“Housing Market Group”). It contacts no service until a site administrator presses “Connect to Housing Market” and approves the connection on the Housing Market consent page. Disconnecting (or deleting the plugin) stops all of it.
1. Housing Market CRM API (https://dashboard.housingmarketcrm.com)
- What it is for: signing in to your account (OAuth 2.0 with PKCE), reading your account name, country and plan, storing your properties and photos, reading your properties back so the site can display them, receiving change notifications, and receiving enquiries as leads.
- What is sent, and when: when you connect, your site address, site name and the plugin, WordPress and PHP versions. When you run the import or edit a property, the property details and the photo files you chose to import. When a visitor submits an enquiry form, the name, email, phone number (if entered) and message they typed, whether they ticked the optional marketing box, the property and page it came from, and the visitor’s IP address (used only for spam decisions; the CRM does not store it). While connected, the plugin also asks the CRM for your properties and for changes, on a schedule and when a page needs data that is not yet cached; those requests carry your site’s access token and property identifiers, not visitor data.
- Property photos shown on your pages are loaded by the visitor’s browser from
https://dashboard.housingmarketcrm.com/api/public/connect-images, so that service receives the visitor’s IP address and normal browser headers. - Terms of use: https://housingmarketcrm.com/terms
- Privacy policy: https://housingmarketcrm.com/privacy
2. Housing Market embed script (https://embed.housingmarketads.com), optional retargeting pixel (currently updating)
- Not used yet: the pixel is currently being updated and nothing is loaded from this address. Below is how it will work.
- What it is for: recording which properties visitors view so you can build audiences in Housing Market Ads.
- Off by default. It loads only if an administrator switches the pixel on AND the visitor has given consent (through Complianz, CookieYes, Cookiebot or the built-in banner). Without consent no script is loaded and no cookie or visitor id is set. Data sent after consent: page view, the viewed property reference and a visitor id.

- Privacy policy: https://housingmarketgroup.com/privacy
3. Cloudflare Turnstile (https://challenges.cloudflare.com), optional
- Only if the administrator enters Turnstile keys. Used to check that an enquiry was sent by a person. The visitor’s browser loads Cloudflare’s script on the page with the form, and when the form is sent the response token and the visitor’s IP address go to Cloudflare for verification.

- Privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
4. Google reCAPTCHA (https://www.google.com/recaptcha/), optional
- Only if the administrator enters reCAPTCHA keys. Same purpose and data as Turnstile above.
- Terms of use: https://policies.google.com/terms
- Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
The “Open map” button on a property page is an ordinary link to openstreetmap.org. Nothing is loaded from it and nothing is sent unless the visitor clicks the link.
Privacy
- Nothing is sent to Housing Market until an administrator connects the site, and nothing is sent after disconnecting.
- Enquiry details a visitor types are sent to the site owner’s Housing Market CRM account. The enquiry form shows a notice saying so, and the marketing tick box is off by default.
- While an enquiry waits to be delivered, a copy is kept in your site’s database (table
hmconnect_lead_queue). Delivered copies are removed after 7 days and undeliverable ones after 90 days. - The retargeting pixel is currently being updated and does not run yet. Once available it will be off by default and run only for visitors who consented. This version sets no cookies (the pixel’s
hmconnect_consentandhmconnect_vidcookies are not set). - Site owners remain responsible for their own privacy policy; the sections above list what the plugin sends so it can be described there.

FAQ
-
Do I need a Housing Market account?
-
Yes. The plugin is the website side of Housing Market CRM, so your properties and leads live in your CRM account. You can create the account when you press “Connect to Housing Market”.
-
Will it delete my existing properties?
-
No. The plugin never deletes your posts. After import you choose whether to keep them, turn them into drafts, or redirect their addresses to the new pages.
-
Can I run the import twice?
-
Yes. Each WordPress post is matched to its CRM property, so running it again updates instead of duplicating.
-
What if my theme is not on the list?
-
Use the custom post type importer: pick your property post type and map its fields to Housing Market fields.
-
Does it work without a paid plan?
-
Yes. Connecting, importing, showing properties (all blocks and shortcodes) and receiving leads are free. Only a few capabilities that run on the CRM service, listed in the Description, depend on your CRM plan.
-
Is the retargeting pixel on by default?
-
The pixel is currently being updated and is not in this version. When it launches it will be off by default and set nothing before the visitor consents.
-
What happens to my data if I delete the plugin?
-
The plugin removes its own settings and tables. Your properties stay in your Housing Market CRM account, and your original WordPress posts are never touched.
-
Where do I get help?
