Description
Twelve live widgets from Hoops Nightly, free, no account needed. They update themselves: a game tracker switches from the tip-off countdown to the live score and the win-probability river, then to the final.

Add the Hoops Nightly widget block in the editor, or use a shortcode anywhere:

All options are listed in Settings Hoops Nightly, where you can also choose to show a small credit link under the widgets (off by default).
With Hoops Nightly Pro (https://hoopsnightly.com/pro) the widgets carry your brand instead of ours and size themselves: paste your key in Settings Hoops Nightly.
External service
This plugin relies on Hoops Nightly (https://hoopsnightly.com), a third-party service: every widget is a page of hoopsnightly.com shown in an iframe, so the visitor’s browser loads it from hoopsnightly.com, which receives the usual request data (IP address, browser, the page that hosts the widget). The widgets set no cookies. The plugin itself sends nothing; the Pro key, if you enter one, is part of the widget address. - Plugins Add New search for “Hoops Nightly Widgets”, or upload the zip.
- Activate it.
- In any post or page add the “Hoops Nightly widget” block, pick the widget and the team. Or paste a shortcode.

Is it free?

Yes. The twelve widgets are free and need no account. Hoops Nightly Pro (optional, paid) removes our branding from inside the widgets and lets them size themselves.

Will it slow my site down?

No. Each widget loads only when a reader scrolls to it, sets no cookies and runs no ads or trackers.

Where do the data come from?

From Hoops Nightly, which updates scores during games and standings, stats and injuries after them.
