Description
Harvify Stock Manager gives you a single, fast dashboard to manage WooCommerce inventory without opening product pages one by one. Filter your catalogue, edit stock, price, SKU and status inline, expand variable products to edit each variation, and save everything at once.
Free features:
- Single-screen stock table for every product and variation
- Inline edit: stock quantity, stock status, manage-stock, backorders,
SKU, price, sale price, weight, tax status, tax class, shipping class — save
per row or all at once - Filter by category, product type and stock status; search by name or SKU; sort
- Show/hide columns
- Low-stock and out-of-stock quick views
- CSV import and export of your stock data
- Basic stock log of recent changes made in the manager
- WooCommerce HPOS compatible
Pro features (Harvify Pro Bundle):
- Back-in-stock notifications — a “notify me when available” form on
out-of-stock product pages; subscribers are emailed automatically when you
restock - Low-stock alerts — to the store owner via email, Slack, Discord, Telegram
or a generic webhook - Per-product and per-category low-stock thresholds (beyond WooCommerce’s
single global threshold) - Full audit history — every stock change from every source (manager edits
and order-driven) with oldnew, source and user, filterable and CSV-exportable - Scheduling — a recurring low-stock digest email and a recurring stock CSV
emailed to you - Auto out-of-stock — stock-managed products that hit zero are taken off
sale automatically, on a schedule and the moment a quantity changes, so a
CSV import or a supplier sync cannot leave a sold-out product on sale.
Backorder products are left alone, and every change is written to the stock
log - Bulk-by-filter — set, increase, decrease or change stock status across
every product matching your current filter (with a stock-status filter, only
the products and variations that match it are changed) - Stock insights — total stock value and units, status counts, and your
most/least stocked products
Editing your stock
- Go to Harvify Stock Manager. The Stock tab lists every product.
- Narrow the list with the category, product type and stock-status filters, or
type in Search product…. The Low stock and Out of stock views show
what needs attention. - Click into any cell to change it — stock quantity, status, price, SKU and the
rest. Open the + next to a variable product to edit each variation. - Click Save changes to save every edited row at once, or Discard to drop
the edits. - Use Columns ▾ to choose which columns you see; the choice is remembered in
your browser.
Import CSV and Export CSV move your stock data in and out as a
spreadsheet. The Stock log tab lists the recent changes made here.
External services
This plugin connects to Freemius, the licensing and update service Harvify uses to
sell and deliver the Pro tier of its plugins.
Nothing is sent to Freemius unless you choose to send it. On activation you are shown
Freemius’s standard opt-in screen. Until you answer it a fresh install makes no
outbound request at all, and if you choose Skip the free tier stays fully usable
and still sends nothing. Data is transmitted only when you take one of these
actions:
- You click “Allow & Continue” on the Freemius opt-in screen. This sends your
site address, your administrator email address, and your WordPress, PHP and active
plugin/theme details, so Harvify can provide support and know which environments to
test against. Skipping that screen sends nothing and leaves the plugin working
normally. - You enter a Pro Bundle licence key. This sends the key together with your site
address so the licence can be activated for that site. While a licence is active the
site also re-checks periodically that it is still valid and whether a Pro update is
available.

FAQ
-
Can I edit variation stock?
-
Yes. Variable products show a “+” expander in the table; open it to inline-edit each variation’s stock, price and status.
-
Are back-in-stock emails consent-based?
-
Yes. Shoppers explicitly enter their email in the opt-in form on an out-of-stock product. When you restock, they’re emailed once and the list is cleared.
-
Do low-stock alerts spam me?
-
No. An alert fires only when a product first crosses at or below its threshold, and re-arms once stock recovers above it.
-
Where is stock data stored?
-
Stock lives in WooCommerce’s own product data — Harvify Stock Manager just reads and writes it through WooCommerce, so it stays compatible with HPOS and the rest of your store.

Changelog
1.0.19
- Requires WordPress 6.2 or later: reading the catalogue a page at a time uses a WordPress 6.1
feature to release each page from memory.
1.0.18
- Fixed: on a large catalogue the CSV export could run out of memory. It read every
product at once and built the whole file before sending any of it. It now reads products
a hundred at a time and writes each row as it goes, so its memory use stays the same however
many products the shop has. Rows come in product-ID order.
1.0.17
- Fixed: the Columns button. The column choices were always open and the button did
nothing; they are now tucked away until you press Columns, and stay open while you tick. - Fixed: the stock log names a variation by its product and size (“Tee — S”), not the size
alone, and shows fields and choices in the table’s words (“Stock”, “Out of stock”).
1.0.16
- Fixed: the Low stock card counted every product in stock. It now counts the products and
variations at or below WooCommerce’s low-stock threshold, and clicking it lists them. - Fixed: variations are in the counts and the views. A variable product with a sold-out size
is counted under Out of stock and listed when you click the card or filter by stock status,
and the SKU box finds a variation by its own SKU. - Fixed: sorting by SKU and by stock. Sorting by SKU sorted by date; sorting by stock put
products whose stock is not counted among the ones at 0. They now sort as labelled, with
products that have no SKU or no counted stock last. - New: save one row on its own. Each row has a Save button beside the page-wide Save
changes. - Fixed: a save says what WooCommerce did not keep. A SKU another product already has, a
sale price at or above the price, a stock status on a product whose stock is counted, a
quantity on a product whose stock is not, renaming a variation, and a value that is not one of
the choices are now refused with the reason, and the field stays marked on screen. They were
reported as “1 product(s) updated.” Nothing refused is written or logged. - Fixed: the dashboard cards update after a save without reloading the page.
- Fixed: CSV. Importing an unchanged export changes nothing (variation names were exported
as their attributes); the export carries tax class and shipping class; a semicolon- or
tab-separated file (as Excel saves in much of Europe) is read; a file with no id or sku column
is refused with the reason; and the import reply names each skipped row and why. - New: a Settings tab on the free version, with the low-stock threshold the cards count
against and the “delete data when this plugin is deleted” control, which until now was on no
screen you could reach.
1.0.15
- Fixed: on a site running only this plugin, the Upgrade tab and the Plan screen now show
what the free version includes and what a licence adds. They showed a single line: the
plugin shipped the feature catalogue but did not load it, so it only worked where another
Harvify plugin was also active.
1.0.14
- Internal names now start with
harvify_stock_instead ofhsm_, as
WordPress.org requires. Your settings, stock log, audit history, per-product
thresholds, back-in-stock subscriber lists and scheduled jobs are carried across
automatically on the first page load after updating; nothing needs doing. - Freemius now asks before connecting. On activation you see Freemius’s standard
opt-in screen with a Skip button; skipping sends nothing and the plugin works as
before. The External services section is updated to match. - Fixed: “delete data on uninstall” left most of the data behind. It removed the
stock log and one setting, but not the alert, schedule, audit and threshold
settings or the per-product data. It now removes everything the plugin stores. - Readme: step-by-step instructions for editing stock.
1.0.13
- Added: a single Support entry in the Harvify menu, so you can reach us from
inside WordPress. Until now no plugin offered a contact route at all. One entry for
the whole suite rather than one per plugin. - No behaviour changes.
1.0.12
- Added: an External services section to this readme, naming every third-party
service the plugin can contact, exactly what is sent, when, and each provider’s terms
and privacy policy. Required for WordPress.org submission. - Changed: the
Contributorsfield now names the correct WordPress.org account. - No behaviour changes.
1.0.11
- Fixed: deactivating the plugin now cancels the low-stock digest, the scheduled
export and the automatic out-of-stock sweep. The plugin had no deactivation
routine at all, so all three stayed queued.
1.0.10
- Docs: the readme documents all five screenshots. It listed four while five ship,
which renders as an empty frame on the plugin directory listing.
1.0.9
- Added: a single Manage licence link on the Plan screen, so an active customer can
deactivate this site, change their licence key or re-check their licence without
needing a URL from support. No per-plugin Account tab is added.
1.0.8
- One upgrade link instead of one per plugin. With several Harvify plugins active the
menu showed a row called “Upgrade” for each of them, all identically labelled, and it kept
saying Upgrade to people who had already bought. They are replaced by a single Plan
screen that says what the bundle costs, what it covers, and whether your licence is active. - The dashboard is quiet again. Each plugin used to add its own “opt in to make this
better” notice to the main WordPress dashboard, so five plugins meant five notices. Harvify
plugins now share one queue: promotional notices appear only on Harvify’s own screens, and
only one at a time. Licence and account messages are never held back. - Fixed: the “Data & uninstall” box covered the page. It was being drawn into the admin
footer, which WordPress pins to the bottom of the screen, so it floated on top of whatever was
underneath it. It now sits in the page like any other card. Saving it also tells you what it
saved, instead of just reloading. - Fixed: the upgrade screen advertised the wrong number of sites. Several plugins listed
the Freelancer and Agency plans as covering 5 and 25 sites. They cover 3 and 10.
1.0.7
- The “delete my data on uninstall” setting had no way to be switched on. The plugin read an
option that nothing in the interface ever wrote, so the cleanup it guarded could never run. It
is now a real control on the plugin’s own screen, still defaulting to off.
1.0.6
- Fixed: the branded admin header and cards were completely unstyled. The shared design
system is scoped to a CSS class the app never applied, so the header and card chrome
rendered as plain text instead of the Harvify admin design used by the rest of the suite. - Fixed: the Free/Pro badge in the header never appeared. The plan pill was passed to the
shared admin header under the wrong key, so nothing on screen said which tier you were on. - Fixed: the “Upgrade to Pro Bundle” button went nowhere — built with the wrong argument
names, so the link fell back to “#”, the Pro feature list was dropped, and no “Compare plans”
link rendered. - The Upgrade screen now states what the free tier keeps (the stock table for every product and
variation, inline editing, filters, quick views, CSV import/export and the basic log) before
listing what Pro adds.
1.0.5
- The back-in-stock email is now a proper HTML email, matching the Harvify Wishlist reminder
it is a sibling of — store header, product name and price, and a real button instead of a bare
URL. The fix that stops product names arriving as “Kettle & Co” is preserved: the name
is decoded and then escaped for HTML, so it reads correctly either way. - Pro features now stop when a licence lapses rather than continuing on the installed premium
build: back-in-stock notifications, low-stock alerts, the audit history, scheduling, bulk edits,
insights and per-product thresholds. Thresholds fall back to WooCommerce’s own global setting. - A lapse never destroys anything. In particular, restocking while lapsed no longer consumes
the back-in-stock waiting list: nobody is emailed, and nobody is silently dropped either — every
shopper who was waiting still gets their email on the first restock after renewal.
1.0.4
- Fixed (Pro): product names with an “&” reached customers as “&”. The back-in-stock
email is plain text, and it carried the product title exactly as WordPress stores it.
WordPress encodes a title on save for any role WITHOUT theunfiltered_htmlcapability —
and Shop Manager, the role WooCommerce creates for the people who manage products, does not
have it. So a shop manager saving “Kettle & Co” stored “Kettle & Co”, and the shopper’s
email read “Back in stock: Kettle & Co”. It was never spotted because test products
were made by an administrator, who does keep the bare “&”. The same fix is applied to the
two other plain-text messages that carried a product name: the low-stock alert (email,
Slack, Discord, Telegram and webhook alike) and the low-stock digest.
1.0.3
- New (Pro): auto-set out-of-stock. Stock-managed products whose quantity is zero are marked out of
stock automatically — on the schedule you choose, and immediately whenever WooCommerce reports a
quantity change. It also puts products back in stock when the quantity rises again, which you can turn
off separately. - Products that accept backorders are never touched: they are meant to sell at zero.
- Every automatic change is written to the stock log (and the Pro audit trail) with its old and new value,
so nothing changes your catalogue silently.
1.0.2
- Added the two inline-edit fields that were missing: tax class and shipping class. The
stock table promised eleven editable fields and offered nine — tax status was there, tax
class and shipping class were not. Both are now editable per row and with Save all, with the
choices read from the classes your shop actually has.
1.0.1
- Your licence is now manageable from the plugin itself. The Account screen was previously
hidden, which also hid Deactivate License — so a licence could not be released from one
site to move it to another without contacting support. It is visible again, along with the
licence key, plan, Sync and Change License. - Harvify Tools now opens with a Your licences table: every installed Harvify plugin,
the plan it is on, whether Pro features are actually running, and a link to its Account screen.
Freemius gives each product its own separate Account page, so this is the one place that
answers “what am I on” across the whole bundle. - The repeated “Opt in to make … better!” admin notice no longer appears. Licence, plan and
update notices are unaffected — only the opt-in prompt is suppressed.
1.0.0
- Initial release: single-screen inline stock editor (products + variations), filters, column control, low/out-of-stock views, CSV import/export and a basic stock log.
- Pro: back-in-stock customer notifications, low-stock owner alerts (email + Slack/Discord/Telegram/webhook), per-product/category thresholds, full audit history, scheduling, bulk-by-filter and stock insights.
