I just tried v1.1.4 on WP4.5.3, and had just one problem getting it to work, but after that, it worked fine. One thing that I think he skips in the setup instructions (maybe I missed it) is that before you generate a Google API Key, you have to enable Google Fonts access under your developer account. After that, when you ask to generate a new API Key (and choose Server Key when you do), it will generate an API Key that includes rights to Google Fonts.

Dude, if you can't maintain this please take it down. Our time is valuable too. Just spend 45 minutes jerking around only to find you've gone dark. Thanks for the memories but, spare us please.

OK plugin, but there is ABSOLUTELY no support. They have a video, but it is old, outdated and pretty much useless. I have the plugin on one website and tried to put it on another, but the video to help you set it up it has never been updated and is now useless. I could not set it up the plugin on the new site. I made a post on the support page months ago and it was never answered. Pat

I've tried a wide variety of font plugins and this is by far the easiest & most reliable to use! A breath of fresh air in the font plugin world! 🙂

Look at how many support tickets there are for the API issue! As of today, September 19, 2015, it's every third or fourth ticket. I'm not gong to bother adding one more to the fire because I've already wasted enough time on this. Back to Simple Google Fonts I guess, which has issues of its own but at least I can use it. If you are the type of person who regularly runs into little problems during your development process, run away! Until they fix this issue, this plugin will make you want to bang your head against a wall.
