Description
GlowFlow lets you translate any page on your site visually. It translates your default language into as many translation languages as you choose:
- Click GlowFlow in the top admin bar and choose Open Translation Editor to launch the visual editor.
- Click any text, image, or link on the page preview.
- Type the translation in the sidebar and hit Save.
- Translations are stored in a custom table and injected automatically on the frontend when a visitor picks a language.
Key features:
- Add unlimited translation languages from a curated list of 30+ locales.
- Optional language subdirectory (/fr/, /es/, etc.) – including for the default language.
- Floating language switcher with light/dark theme and 4 position options.
- Shortcode [glowflow_switcher] to drop the switcher anywhere.
- Internal link rewriting to keep the selected language sticky.
- Translations are preserved on plugin deactivation/uninstall so updates do not destroy your work.
Installation
- Upload the glowflow-lite folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
- Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
- Go to GlowFlow in the dashboard sidebar, choose your translation language, configure the switcher, and save.
- Click GlowFlow -> Open Translation Editor in the admin bar to start translating.
FAQ
-
Are my translations deleted if I deactivate or remove the plugin?
-
No. The translations table and your language settings are kept intact when the plugin is uninstalled, so a re-install (for example to apply an update) picks up exactly where you left off.
-
How many languages does it translate?
-
As many as you like. Set your default (original) language, then add any number of translation languages on the settings screen. Each one becomes available in the visual editor and the language switcher.
-
Can I customize the language switcher?
-
Yes. You can show a floating switcher with a light or dark theme and choose from four positions, or place it anywhere with the [glowflow_switcher] shortcode.
