This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

It’s a simple widget that lists your projects on github. It’s got several configurable options such as username, theme, title et cetera. It tries
to guess your username with the admin account of your wordpress instalallation. If it’s wrong you can manually change that. The plugin makes use of the widget api, so it should integrate with your theme without any problems.

  • The widget in action with the default theme
  • Configuration options in the backend for the widget
  • Widget with black theme and custom title
  • Dr. Nic's github badge: instant coolness

  1. Upload the github-widget.php file folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Place the widget in your sidebar
  4. Tweak the settings if necessary

It doesn’t work!
