WooCommerce UPS Shipping – Live Rates and Access Points

Seamless UPS WooCommerce integration

UPS WooCommerce plugin lets you offer a full range of UPS shipping options. You’ll integrate the plugin in just 5 minutes.

Your clients will see every UPS shipping option in the checkout with its real price. The shipping cost is calculated automatically online due to UPS API connection. You can offer delivery to UPS Access Point, too. Also, points selected by customers save to WooCommerce order.

Give your customers the opportunity to pick up packages when and where it’s best for them. Enable Access Points support to show store customers the option to choose an Access Point location. The plugin suggests the nearest points for the customer’s address and saves the selected point to the customer’s order.

UPS is a trusted brand. It is one of the leaders in its category. UPS delivers 18 million parcels and letters worldwide everyday. You’ll integrate UPS services with your WooCommerce store via the UPS API. You’ll provide your clients with a choice of the brand they trust.

You’ll integrate UPS services with your store within a few moments and will be able to offer dynamic UPS rates to your customers. Your customers will be able to choose Access Points, too. Give your customers access to more than 27,000 such locations across Europe and North America to pick up their online purchases.

What currencies does the plugin support?

UPS WooCommerce plugin supports every currency which UPS supports. You can use currency switchers with no worries, they work well. If UPS doesn’t support a given currency, the UPS WooCommerce plugin won’t show it in the checkout.

Do I need a UPS account?

Yes. UPS WooCommerce uses your account to make a connection to the UPS API. This plugin shows you API Status in the settings section. You can sign up with UPS quickly and easily on their site.

How can I configure UPS services?

There is an option to enable services custom settings. You can set which services are available for your customers. However, UPS WooCommerce shows only services available for a given customer based on their shipping address.

What is a fallback cost?

Sometimes API doesn’t respond or return an error. The UPS shipping method is not shown in the checkout by default in such situations. However, you can set the fallback cost. If it is enabled, then in case of any API errors, UPS is shown in the checkout with the fallback cost you set.

Crashes entire site, only way to fix is through host backdoor

Twice this plugin crashed our entire site. Then if I try a support ticket via their website, I'm not able to select a product, therefore not able to send in my error report. Here is the error report from my host: " Here is your error, as you can see, it's caused by your flexible-shipping-ups plugin, which a member of your team updated today @ 2:24PM ET, causing the error. Would you like us to try & deactivate that plugin for you? [16-Apr-2019 18:29:53 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wpdesk_permanent_dismissible_notice() (previously declared in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/flexible-shipping-ups/vendor/wpdesk/wp-notice/src/WPDesk/notice-functions.php:260) in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/flexible-checkout-fields-pro/vendor/wpdesk/wp-notice/src/WPDesk/functions.php on line 60 " If you look and see how both path's are from WPDesk, it seems like they are tripping over their own plugins. Sad. WPDesk please fix this asap.

Good for Free, But Limited

Plugin is Good for Free, Make Pro Version with Weight limits per box, handling and other items needed. My problem was 200 lb order goes into 4 boxes and not 1, but your app see it as one box and does not give shipping price. But UPS allows you to have more then one box per order. For most aspects of shipping this is good app.

OK, but not what it needs to be

No way to add handling charge (for example, to cover the cost of the box and packing materials). The USPS capability inside WooServices has this and it's great! Also, doesn't appear to be a way to tell the packaging algorithm not to put a 4 ft tall item in a 2 ft box.

Top Plugin!!!

A very nice plugin, Works, that is easy to manage, just a note I have to the plugin, unfortunately, you can not use other shipping rates, would have to revise the manual, but maybe that will come again with an update that you can use other prices as negotiated.
