This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.



Parses posts for external links and puts their favicon next to them. It uses service for getting the url favicon.

  1. Upload favparser.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

Also note that when inserting link in your post via ‘Insert/edit link’ (chain link image)
do not give that link a title in the insert link dialog.
