Description
Fapshi for GiveWP adds a Mobile Money payment gateway to your Give donation forms. Donors in Cameroon can pay with MTN MoMo or Orange Money; they enter their phone number, receive a USSD prompt on their phone, and approve with their PIN. No redirect required in the default (direct pay) mode.

- PHP 7.4+
- An activated Fapshi account and a collection service
- Site currency set to XAF (CFA Franc)

- Direct pay (default): donor stays on your site, USSD push sent to their phone.
- Initiate pay: redirect to Fapshi’s hosted page, return after payment.
- Supports both Give v2 legacy forms and v3 Visual Builder forms.
- Webhook handling, real-time status polling.

External Service
This plugin connects to the Fapshi payment gateway to process Mobile Money donations. Donor phone numbers are sent to Fapshi’s servers to trigger the USSD payment prompt. An activated Fapshi account with a collection service is required. Before enabling this gateway, please review:

Installation
- Upload the
fapshi-for-givefolder to/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu.
- Go to GiveWP Settings Payment Gateways Fapshi and enter your API credentials.
- Paste the webhook URL shown in the settings into your Fapshi dashboard.
- Enable the gateway on your donation forms.

Where do I get API credentials?

Log in to your Fapshi dashboard, create a service and copy your API user and API key (test with Sandbox details and collect real money with the Live credentials)

Does this support recurring donations?

No. Mobile money has no saved credential to charge on a schedule, so recurring donations are out of
scope. One-time donations only. -
How do refunds work?

Refunds must be processed manually from your Fapshi dashboard. The plugin will show a clear message in GiveWP if you try to refund through WP.
