Description

Facebook comments can be annoying to set up. This plugin makes it simple to add the Facebook comments system to your WordPress site without any hassle.

Simply install the plugin and follow the instructions on the Settings page.

You can also insert the comment box as a shortcode into any post, page or template and use your own settings for each time you do it! Simply use the shortcode [fbcomments]

Installation

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

  1. Upload facebook-comments-plugin directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Go to the Facebook Comments settings
  4. Go through the steps and hit update!

comment duplicates

I just installed and comments are duplicated like mentioned in other comments. I un-installed and re-installed and still get the duplicates…

Great plugin.

Initially the plugin duplicated the comments field, I tried other plugins, but they did not work, like that Social Comments, so I reactivated Facebook Comments and it worked.
I have no idea what happened before.

Needs update

Been using this one a year ago. Worked fine. But after update (after a year), there is no option to add API key, like before. So something is wrong.
Using php 7 this time, maybe that is a reason, but php7 is the future, not planing to look back.
Btw comments disapeared, or in the other words: did not synchronize with posts. Come on dude, fix it. 🙂
