Perfectly Working With WordPress 4.8.3

Plugin support is outdated. but plugin is working perfectly. This plugin saved my time.

For the people doesn’t know how to use, here is the solution,

  1. First, import your posts to the new site.
  2. Use this plugin in your old site and go to under tools > Export Featured Images and select post types.
Then you will get a .xml file.
  3. In your new site go to Tool and select wordpress import. Then select the .xml file which you downloaded in the previous step.

That’s all.. Your posts are mapped with featured images. Enjoy!

Works on WP > 4

In my case I had to do the folloing:

  • Delete the custom post type previously imported without featured img (and empty trash)
  • Import the file generated by this plugin
  • Re-import my [custom] posts

Still works!

I was a bit reluctant to try this as it hasn’t been updated in so long but lo and behold it really does work! Great stuff, thanks very much for saving me so much time
