Description
Selling online to consumers in the European Union or the United Kingdom comes with rules that WooCommerce does not cover on its own. EuroBrit adds them in one plugin, with a checklist that tells you what is done and what is still missing.
- 30-day lowest price (Omnibus). Every discount shows the lowest price you charged in the 30 days before it started. EuroBrit records each price change, so the figure is exact — including when a scheduled sale begins.
- Product safety (GPSR). A “Product safety” tab with the manufacturer, the EU responsible person, an identifier and warnings. Set shop-wide defaults once and override them per product.
- Unit price. Enter the net quantity and the price per kg, litre, metre or piece appears next to the price. UK rules (per kg and per litre only) are one setting away.
- Legal guarantee notice. The European Commission’s official notice in all 24 EU languages, shown as the Commission’s guidelines describe: behind a “Your legal guarantee rights” link on product pages, at checkout (classic and block), at the bottom of every page and in order confirmation emails.
- Compliance checklist. Green, amber and red items for your shop: products without manufacturer details, discounts without price history, missing legal pages, reviews transparency.
Each module can be switched on or off on its own, so EuroBrit works next to other plugins you already use.
EuroBrit helps you meet these requirements; it is not legal advice. Check your texts with a lawyer in the countries you sell to.
Installation
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- Install EuroBrit from the Plugins screen and activate it.
- Go to WooCommerce EuroBrit, fill in the settings and work through the checklist.
FAQ
-
Where does the 30-day lowest price come from?
-
From EuroBrit’s own price history. On activation it records every product’s current price; from then on it records each change. For a discount that was already running when you installed EuroBrit there is no earlier history, so the regular price is shown until a discount starts with history behind it (you can switch this off).
-
Does it work with variable products?
-
Yes. Each variation has its own price history, and its own net quantity for the unit price (or it uses the parent product’s).
-
Does it work with the block checkout?
-
Yes. The guarantee notice is shown with both the classic and the block checkout.
