Description
Allowing your customers to choose their preferred delivery and pickup dates directly at checkout is an effective way to enhance customer satisfaction, streamline order fulfillment, and reduce cart abandonment. The ELEX Woo Choose Your Delivery and Pickup Date plugin enables shoppers to specify exactly when they wish to receive or pick up their orders, accommodating customers who may be traveling or unavailable on standard delivery days.
This plugin is ideal for stores offering scheduled deliveries, local pickups, pre-orders, subscriptions, or gift items. As a store administrator, you maintain complete control over operational scheduling: configure minimum preparation lead times, define operating hours, select active working days, block weekly holidays, and manage specific date closures to ensure orders are accepted only when your store is operational.

- Flexible Date Selection: Enables shoppers to choose their preferred home delivery or local pickup date at checkout.

External Services
This plugin optionally connects to Google APIs to sync WooCommerce delivery and pickup order dates with the store owner’s Google Calendar. This feature is entirely opt-in — it is only active when the store admin explicitly sets up and authorizes the Google Calendar integration from the plugin settings.
Service: Google OAuth 2.0 (accounts.google.com)
Used to authenticate and authorize the store admin’s Google account so the plugin can access their Google Calendar.
- Endpoint:
https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/v2/auth - What is sent: The store admin’s Google Client ID, the plugin’s redirect URI, and requested OAuth scopes (
calendar.events,userinfo.email,userinfo.profile). - When it is sent: Only when the store admin clicks “Authorize & Connect” in the plugin settings page.
- Data is sent to Google’s servers and is subject to Google’s policies.
Service: Google OAuth 2.0 Token Exchange (oauth2.googleapis.com)
Used to exchange the authorization code for access and refresh tokens, and to refresh expired access tokens.
- Endpoint:
https://oauth2.googleapis.com/token - What is sent: The authorization code (or refresh token), the store admin’s Client ID and Client Secret.
- When it is sent: Once after the admin authorizes the app, and automatically in the background when the access token expires to maintain the connection.
- The access token and refresh token are stored encrypted in the WordPress database and are never shared with any party other than Google.
Service: Google OAuth 2.0 Token Revocation (oauth2.googleapis.com)
Used to revoke the stored access token when the admin disconnects their Google account.
- Endpoint:
https://oauth2.googleapis.com/revoke - What is sent: The current access token.
- When it is sent: Only when the store admin clicks “Disconnect Account” in the plugin settings page.
Service: Google UserInfo API (googleapis.com)
Used to retrieve the connected Google account’s email address to display in the plugin settings.
- Endpoint:
https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v2/userinfo - What is sent: The OAuth access token (as a Bearer header).
- When it is sent: Once after a successful authorization, to store and display the connected account email.
Service: Google Calendar API (googleapis.com)
Used to create, update, and delete calendar events on the store admin’s primary Google Calendar when WooCommerce orders are placed, updated, or cancelled — if the Google Calendar sync option is enabled.
- Endpoint:
https://www.googleapis.com/calendar/v3/calendars/primary/events - What is sent: Order delivery/pickup date, time slot, order ID, and customer name. No payment or sensitive personal data is sent.
- When it is sent: When an order is placed, its status changes, or it is cancelled — only if Google Calendar sync is enabled in the plugin settings.
