This plugin adds Google AdWords conversion tracking to your Easy Digital Downloads store.

  • Enable / disable conversion tracking via settings
  • Setup conversion id via settings
  • Setup conversion label via settings
  • Collecting the total amount (value) and currency of conversions
  • Inserts tracking code automatically to valid purchases
  • Additional support for the following gateway extensions: Bank Transfer Gateway

Currently using the tracking pixel image method due to the fact that WordPress strips out the CDATA comments of the script method.

Installation

The installation and configuration of the plugin is as simple as it can be.

Using The WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
  2. Search for ‘edd google adwords’
  3. Click ‘Install Now’
  4. Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard

Uploading in WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
  2. Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
  3. Select edd-google-adwords.zip from your computer
  4. Click ‘Install Now’
  5. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Using FTP

  1. Download edd-google-adwords.zip
  2. Extract the edd-google-adwords directory to your computer
  3. Upload the edd-google-adwords directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  4. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
