Easy Content Adder

Easy Content Adder allows you to add custom content via a native WordPress editor and display the content at the top or bottom of all posts, pages, or both. The plugin also supports all custom post types and provides the ability to hide the content from all pages without the need to remove your content or disable the plugin. All text, links, and media attachments can be added to the custom content. If you can add it to a WordPress Page or Post, it can be added via Easy Content Adder.

An option is provided that will allow you chose whether the content is displayed at the bottom or top of all pages.

  1. Upload the easy-content-adder folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the Easy Content Adder plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Configure the plugin by going to the Settings > Easy Content Adder link that appears in your admin menu

This free plug in saves the trouble of inserting HTML into your child theme's php and risking a site meltdown until the old file is reinstated by FTP. (If you do this type of editing and sometimes have made careless mistakes, you know what I'm talking about.) With "Easy Content Adder," it's A-B-C simple to change whatever is above or below your page or post content in the WordPress loop. I sort of wish you could define different HTML for top and bottom, rather than just duplicating, but I'm guessing you could make that happen by editing the plug-in code yourself. You can choose the HTML (or other code) to appear top, bottom, or both. Great work! Thank you for this.
