I can't get the description of the plugin to show on the website. The installer seems broken (if I download the zip file and manually upload it to my wordpress site it installs just fine). And once you're using it, it's not very smart - you can enter multiple items with the same names, etc... and it's not smart enough to automatically combine them. But I'm not actually a "developer" - at all. I'm happy with how this turned out, but I would advise people to keep an eye on the plugin's website for any future changes or stand-alone solutions. Thanks to anyone who DOES decide to check this thing out.
