This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.



This adds a longer timeout to http requests to avoid common “An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request.” Go to “Settings->dp HTTP Timeout” to adjust timeout value.


  1. Upload plugin folder “dp-http-request-fix” to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin “dp HTTP Timeout Fix” through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Go to “Settings -> dp HTTP Timeout” to adjust timeout value.
