Description
Do It Simply Booking Dropdown Dates replaces the WooCommerce Bookings calendar with a simple dropdown of upcoming dates on a per-product basis. When a customer picks a date, the plugin fills in Bookings’ own date, time, and resource fields — so pricing, availability, and add-to-cart all work as normal.

Requirements

- WooCommerce Bookings (premium extension — not available on WordPress.org)
If WooCommerce Bookings is not active, the plugin shows an admin notice and loads nothing else.
Installation
- Upload the
do-it-simply-booking-dropdown-datesfolder to/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate the plugin in Plugins › Installed Plugins.
- Open a WooCommerce Bookings product, go to the General tab, and tick Show dates as a dropdown.
- Optionally enter a custom placeholder label.
- Optionally choose an Option label style.
- Save the product.

Does this replace the calendar on all products?

No. You enable the dropdown per product using the checkbox on the product’s General tab.

Where do the dates come from?

From the product’s own Bookings availability rules. Global site-wide rules are not used to generate dates. Timed products list every valid start time Bookings offers on that day.

My resource names already contain the date. How do I avoid showing it twice?

Set Option label to Resource name only. The date is omitted from the label.

Does it work with products that have customer-selectable resources?

The feature is implemented — the dropdown hides the resource selector and sets the resource automatically. It has not yet been fully tested; use with caution.

I’m switching from the earlier private version (WooBooking-Dropdown-coursedates). Will my product settings be kept?

Yes. This plugin uses the same settings keys, so existing products keep their configuration. Deactivate the old plugin before activating this one.
