DevMerx AntiCopy raises the effort required to take your text and
images. Pick the kind of site you run during setup and it switches on protections that
suit it, or choose each one yourself.
Everything below is included in this download. There is no licence key, no trial period,
and nothing switches itself off later.

Honest about the limits
No website can stop an operating-system screenshot, and anyone willing to open developer
tools can read what their browser already downloaded. AntiCopy stops casual copying and
raises the cost of scraping. It does not claim otherwise.
Built to stay out of the way
- Logged-in editors and administrators are exempt by default.
- Form fields, comment boxes, and the block editor keep normal copy and paste.
- Cart, checkout, and account pages are never protected.
- It stores nothing about your visitors and makes no outbound network requests.
A paid version is sold separately
Everything listed above is in this download and fully working. Nothing here is
locked, limited, time-limited or waiting on a licence key, and nothing below is hidden
inside this plugin. AntiCopy Pro and AntiCopy Business are a different
plugin, sold and downloaded from our own site — not an unlock code for this one.
They are listed here so you know what exists, not because anything is missing from what
you just installed.
AntiCopy Pro adds ten more protections:

Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/, or install it through Plugins Add New. - Activate it. The setup screen opens automatically.
- Pick the kind of site you run, or skip and choose features yourself under AntiCopy Features.

Will this stop everyone from copying my content?

No, and be wary of any plugin that says it will. These protections stop casual copying,
right-click saving, drag-and-drop, and most automated scrapers. Someone determined enough
to open developer tools can still read the page. -
Will it break my forms or my checkout?

No. Form fields, text areas, and contenteditable regions are exempt, and cart, checkout,
and account pages are never protected. -
Can I still copy things on my own site?

Yes. Anyone who can edit posts is exempt by default. You can turn that off under
AntiCopy Features General. -
What does it record about my visitors?

Nothing. This version stores no visitor data, creates no database tables beyond its own
settings row, and never contacts an external server. There is no telemetry and no
analytics of any kind. -
Does it work with a caching plugin?

Yes. Every protection here is decided in the browser, so a cached page behaves exactly
like an uncached one. Nothing needs to be excluded from your cache. -
Does it slow my site down?

The front-end bundle is a single small JavaScript file and one stylesheet, both served
from your own server. Nothing is loaded from a third party. -
Where do I get the paid version?

From devmerx.com — it is a separate plugin you
download and install instead of this one. There is no licence field anywhere
in this plugin and no upgrade button, because there is nothing here to unlock. -
What happens if I delete the plugin?

Everything it created is removed: its settings, the post meta it added, and its scheduled
jobs. Deactivating the plugin leaves your settings alone — only deleting it clears them.
