DestinX ClaimMap helps site owners keep commercial promises consistent. Build a private claim library, then manually scan published posts and pages for official text, accepted variants and retired values.
The Free MVP includes:

- Coverage history that compares each claim with the previous completed scan.
ClaimMap is not an SEO plugin and not a search-and-replace tool. It does not modify site content. There are no accounts, external APIs, AI services, tracking, advertisements, paywalls or Pro features in this plugin.
DestinX ClaimMap Pro is available as a separately installed add-on. The Free plugin remains a complete local claim engine and does not contain locked premium code. Its single contextual add-on note can be hidden for 24 hours and is not shown when a compatible add-on is active.
How matching works
Matching is deterministic, case-insensitive and Unicode-aware. It normalizes whitespace and respects word boundaries. Official text is Consistent, a known variant is Known variant, and a retired value Needs review.
The scanner reads saved titles, excerpts and content. Gutenberg blocks are rendered before matching, while Elementor and BeBuilder saved text stores are read locally. It strips HTML and removes classic shortcodes without running them. Custom fields and text generated only in the browser remain outside the Free MVP.
Privacy
All claim, scan and review data stays in the WordPress database. ClaimMap sends no data anywhere and makes no outbound requests.
The original DestinX X mark and ClaimMap publication artwork are original works distributed under GPLv2 or later with this plugin.

Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/or install the release ZIP. - Activate DestinX ClaimMap.
- Click Open ClaimMap on the Plugins screen, or open ClaimMap in the administration menu.
- Follow the three visible steps: add and publish a claim, start the read-only scan, then review the results.
FAQ

Does ClaimMap change my posts or pages?

No. Scanning is read-only. The editor link lets an administrator decide whether and how to edit content.

Does it use AI or send content to an external service?

No. Matching runs locally in PHP and there are no external requests, accounts or tracking.

What does Needs review mean?

The scanner found a phrase entered as a retired value for that claim. It is a deterministic library match, not an AI judgment.

What happens when I ignore a false positive?

That result is marked Ignored in the current scan snapshot. A later scan can show the wording again so that new context is never silently suppressed.

What happens to data on uninstall?

Deactivation keeps all data. Deleting the plugin through WordPress removes the claim library, scans, results and plugin options.

How do I run the first scan?

Open ClaimMap and follow the highlighted Start here panel. After you publish the first claim, the second step contains the Start your first scan button. You do not need to create special pages: ClaimMap reads your existing published Posts and Pages.
