The Demandbase WordPress Plugin quickly and easily integrates the Demandbase Personalization Solutions into your WordPress site.

With this easy-to-use plugin, you can conditionally show content to visitor’s based on their company profile, or you can dynamically insert company profile attributes into your site copy.

Features of the plugin include:

  • Targeting site content using shortcodes
  • Dynamically insert company profile attribute values into site copy (such as industry, company name, and company size).
  • Convenient shortcode builder tool on the post/page edit pages
  • Simulating visitors from specific companies or by IP address
  • Exposes the Demandbase company profile to the WordPress application layer for use in themes and widgets.

Screenshots

  • Enter your Content Module key on the Settings page. This is also where simulation mode is enabled. Various companies can be simulated using the drop down menu or by manually entering an IP address.
  • The Entitlements page shows the Demandbase Company Profile attributes available for personalization and targeting, including Account Watch attributes. These can be enabled or disabled by contacting your Demandbase representative.
  • Shortcodes are used to conditionally display content blocks or to dynamic insert company profile attribute values.
  • An easy-to-use shortcode builder is added to the bottom of the page editor to help you build shortcodes and insert them into the page editor.

Installation

  1. Install the plugin by uploading through the WordPress Admin Dashboard
  2. Activate the plugin
  3. Open the Demandbase settings by clicking “Demandbase” in the admin menu
  4. Enter your Demandbase Content Module key
  5. Create a targeted, personalized site. Edit your pages and posts, creating conditions using the visitor’s company profile from Demandbase.

FAQ

Which Demandbase License is required for using this plugin?

You must license the Demandbase Content Module to use this plugin.

Can I use my Account Watch attributes with this plugin?

Yes. Your Account Watch attributes will show in your list of entitlements.
The entitlements list is dynamically generated using your key and Demandbase’s IP address. If you do not see your Account Watch attributes, you may need to add Demandbase as an empty entry in your Account Watch list.

Can I use this plugin with other Demandbase products?

In general, other Demandbase solutions for web analytics, forms, and chat are implemented separately from this plugin.
