External services
This plugin connects your site to daita, a third-party AI service, to provide the
chat/voice assistant. This is required for the assistant to work.
- It loads the widget script from
https://daita-ai.com/embed.js. - When a visitor opens the chat, the widget sends their messages (and, only if you enable
voice, audio) together with your Workspace ID to the daita backend
(https://*.cloudfunctions.net) to generate replies. The widget also sends a one-time
per-session “heartbeat” (your site’s hostname + Workspace ID) so you can confirm the
agent is installed. - No data is sent until a visitor interacts with the widget (the heartbeat aside).

- Upload the plugin to
/wp-content/plugins/(or install via Plugins Add New Upload). - Activate it through the “Plugins” menu in WordPress.
- Go to Settings daita AI Agent.
- Paste your Workspace ID and click “Save & go live”.

The widget supports text chat out of the box. Real-time voice is optional and only activates if you enable it for your workspace.

No. The widget script is enqueued in the footer and deferred, so it loads after your page content.

Where is my data processed?
