Description
Curiosa Review creates invitations with unique links for collecting service reviews. Submitted reviews are moderated in Curiosa Review before publication. Display published reviews with the [curiosa_reviews] shortcode; each published review also has an individual page.
The reviewed service provider’s name is configured separately for each site in Curiosa Review’s provider settings. It is distinct from both the public author of an individual review and the plugin’s brand.
The review form accepts up to three optional evidence photos in JPEG, PNG, or WebP format. New uploads are validated and optimized before being added to the WordPress Media Library. A published individual review shows its gallery and lightbox; review cards show a photo count.
Optional widgets are available when Elementor is active. The shortcode works without Elementor. Curiosa Review also provides Review JSON-LD, canonical URLs, and a native sitemap. When Rank Math is active, Curiosa Review integrates with its SEO output and sitemap. Rank Math is optional.
The current routes are /opiniones/invitacion/{token} for a private invitation and /opiniones/clientes/{slug} for a published individual review.
Installation
- In WordPress, upload the Curiosa Review ZIP through the Plugins screen, then install and activate it.
- In Curiosa Review’s provider settings, confirm the name of the organization whose services are being reviewed. A fresh installation initially uses the site’s Site Title. This first public release of Curiosa Review does not include migration of legacy GTR data.
- Create an invitation in Curiosa Review’s invitations screen and share its private link with the recipient.
- Review submissions in Curiosa Review’s moderation screen. Add [curiosa_reviews] to a page to display published reviews.
FAQ
-
Do I need Elementor?
-
No. The shortcode and individual review page work without Elementor. Curiosa Review registers its widgets only when Elementor is available.
-
Do I need Rank Math?
-
No. Curiosa Review provides a native sitemap and its own individual review page. When Rank Math is active, Curiosa Review integrates with its filters and sitemap.
-
Where are photos stored?
-
In the WordPress Media Library and uploads directory. Up to three new evidence photos are accepted in JPEG, PNG, or WebP format; GIF and SVG are not accepted. Existing Media Library images (owned=0) are preserved when removed from a review. A known direct uploads URL may still serve a file even when Curiosa Review does not display the gallery of a pending review.
-
What privacy information does Curiosa Review provide?
-
Curiosa Review adds editable suggested text to the WordPress Privacy Policy Guide. Invitations and reviews store data; published reviews may expose public review information. The suggested text covers retention and possible access through a direct uploads URL. Site administrators must adapt it to their site. Curiosa Review does not automatically match privacy requests to reviews by reviewer email.
-
What happens when I deactivate or uninstall the plugin?
-
Deactivation preserves invitations, reviews, options, and media. Uninstallation also preserves them by default. An administrator can explicitly enable destructive cleanup in Curiosa Review’s data and uninstall settings before uninstalling. Only then does uninstallation delete Curiosa Review reviews, invitations, and options. Images created by Curiosa Review are deleted only when ownership can be verified; existing Media Library images (owned=0) associated with reviews are preserved. Automatic destructive cleanup does not run on Multisite. Back up the site before enabling this irreversible option.
-
Is Multisite supported?
-
Network activation and Multisite provisioning have not been validated and are not declared supported for the first public candidate. Automatic provisioning of every site in a network is not promised.
-
What are the support limitations?
-
No response-time guarantee or service-level agreement is declared. Network activation and Multisite provisioning are not supported by this candidate. Elementor and Rank Math are optional integrations installed separately.
