This plugin displays the Coronavirus case data of the whole world and country you care through shortcodes [cov2019] [cov2019all] or [cov2019map] in your WordPress post or page.

You can see how many patient(s) are confirmed, dead or recovered, in the world, and the country or region you select.

This plugin is free to use.

Praying for those affected by the coronavirus and those who are worried. May everyone in this world be healthy.

Installation

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

  1. Upload this plugin(unziped) to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Place shortcodes in your post or page anywhere you want to show latest coronavirus data.

FAQ

What’s been shared between API and me?

This plugin only download Coronavirus counts data from API to visitor’s web browser as json file, no uploads, no server information nor visitor information will be shared to anywhere, anyone.

Any admin page?

Yes, go to Settings -> Corona Virus Data, there you can choose a Country or Region to focus on, it will show up in front-end.

How to use this plugin?

Activate this plugin, write the shortcode [cov2019] or [cov2019all] to any page or post, publish it, charts will show up, that’s it.

Networking problem with getting data?

The data source of this plugin came from an api, pretty fast as I test, but shit happens, if you can’t get any data, try to relax and reload your page a while later.

I’m in Russia, this plugin does not work, why?

The API we use had been blocked in Russia by government regulator since 2020-4-10, this plugin won’t work in Russia for now, sorry.

Good Plugin, works well and nice color usage on statistics. Only problem I see is the numbers/values and country names do not show up in the page source (impacts search engine and other bots that might want to read data from our site)

Just activated the plugin. It's running smoothly. I love it. Data is accurate. My question is, how can I make my country be the at the top list before others?
