Description
This plugin is the receiving end of the SEO Writer
service. The service studies the search results for your keyword, writes the
article, picks the images and prepares the meta tags. The plugin takes the
finished material and turns it into a post on your site.
The division matters: the text is produced on the servers of the service, not on
your hosting. The plugin generates nothing and runs no models locally, so
publishing many articles does not slow your site down.
The plugin never multiplies or copies content. One delivery carries one finished
article and creates one post from it. A repeat delivery of the same article
updates that same post instead of producing duplicates. By default an article
arrives as a draft, so you decide what gets published.
An account with the service is required. Registration is free.
This plugin is developed and maintained by the team behind the SEO Writer service
(ai-seowriter.ru). It is the official receiving end of that service and is not
affiliated with any other product that carries a similar name.
Please note: the service is aimed at the Russian-speaking market. Articles are
written in Russian by default (the language can be changed in the site settings),
and the account area is available in Russian and English. The plugin interface is
in English and switches to Russian automatically on sites whose language is Russian.
What the plugin does
- Receives articles over a protected route with a signed request
- Creates or updates a post without producing duplicates on a repeat delivery
- Moves the cover and the illustrations into the site media library along with their alt text
- Fills in the fields of Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress
- Carries over the Schema.org markup, including the questions and answers block
- Files articles into categories and creates the missing ones
- Notifies search engines about a new page through IndexNow
- Shows a log of recent deliveries right in the admin area
What data is transferred
Until you enter a connection key, the plugin contacts no external address at all.
Once connected, it sends the service the site address, the site title, the
WordPress version and the plugin version, and receives a key used to verify the
signature of incoming requests. After that the exchange runs one way: the service
sends articles, and the plugin answers with the address of the published page.
The address of a new page is sent to api.indexnow.org. This is an open protocol
for notifying search engines, supported by Yandex and Bing. Nothing but the page
address is sent there. The notification can be switched off with a checkbox in
Settings – SEO Writer.
External services
This plugin relies on two external services. Nothing is sent anywhere until you
enter a connection key in the plugin settings.
SEO Writer (ai-seowriter.ru)
The service that writes the articles. The plugin is its receiving end: the text is
produced on the servers of the service and arrives at your site ready to publish.
What is sent and when:
- When you press Connect: the site address, the site title, the WordPress version
and the plugin version. In return the plugin receives a secret used to verify the
signature of later requests. This happens once, at your explicit action. - After an article has been published: the address of the created page and the
result of the delivery, so the log in your account shows what happened. This is
the answer to an incoming request from the service, not a separate call.
The service does not read your content and does not request anything else from the
site. Service provided by SEO Writer (ai-seowriter.ru).

IndexNow (api.indexnow.org)
An open protocol for telling search engines that a page has appeared or changed.
It is supported by Yandex, Bing, Seznam and others.
What is sent and when: after an article is published, the plugin sends the address
of that page, the address of the site and a key file name to api.indexnow.org.
Nothing else is transmitted, and no personal data is involved. The notification is
optional and can be switched off with a checkbox in Settings – SEO Writer; when it
is off, the plugin never contacts this address.

- Install and activate the plugin.
- Open Settings – SEO Writer.
- Paste the connection key from your account in the service and press Connect.
The site must run over https and be reachable from the internet: the service delivers articles by sending a request to it.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. The plugin works on any plan, including the free one. Only the number of
articles per month is limited. -
Do I have to install the plugin to publish from the service?

No. WordPress can also be connected without it, through an application password.
The plugin covers the case where the standard REST API of the site is closed by a
security plugin or by the hosting provider. -
What happens to my articles if I remove the plugin?

Published articles, images and categories stay on the site. They are your content.
The plugin removes only its own settings. -
An article did not arrive. What should I check?

The delivery log in your account shows the response code from the site and the
reason. The three common causes are an outdated key in the plugin, a server clock
that differs from real time by more than five minutes, and a deactivated plugin. -
Can articles contain videos?

Yes, when videos are enabled for the site in your account. The plugin keeps video
players from YouTube, RuTube and VK Video and removes any other embedded frame.
A player is loaded from its service when a visitor opens the article; the plugin
itself does not contact these services. -
Can articles be published straight away, skipping drafts?

Yes. The status is set per site in your account: draft or immediate publication.
