ChatEasy WooCommerce Plugin

  • The ChatEasy WooCommerce Plugin allows you to send WhatsApp messages to customers and receive messages on WhatsApp directly from the WooCommerce orders page.
  • All you need to do is provide your ChatEasy API credentials and configure the plugin settings.
  • The plugin is free to use and is available on the WordPress plugin repository. But you will need a ChatEasy account and active Subscription to use the plugin. You can create a ChatEasy account for free trial at https://chateasy.in.
  • You can also use the plugin without a ChatEasy account. But you will need to provide your own WhatsApp Business API credentials. You can get the API credentials from https://developers.facebook.com. But this feature is not yet available in the plugin. We will be releasing this feature soon.

  • Configure the plugin by providing ChatEasy API credentials and other settings
  • Send a test message to ensure that the plugin is working correctly
  • Send a notification to the customer when the order status is changed


To use the plugin, you will need to obtain API credentials from ChatEasy. You can do this by signing up for an account on the ChatEasy website and navigating to the API credentials page.

Once you have obtained your API credentials, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > ChatEasy to configure the plugin. Enter your API credentials and other settings, then click the “Save Changes” button to save your settings.


To send a WhatsApp message to a customer, navigate to the WooCommerce orders page and click the “Send WhatsApp Message” button next to the order. This will open a WhatsApp chat window with the customer’s phone number and order details.

To receive WhatsApp messages from customers, simply respond to the WhatsApp chat thread on your phone or WhatsApp Web. The messages will automatically be displayed on the WooCommerce orders page.

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file from the releases page or from the WordPress plugin repository
  2. Upload the ZIP file to your WordPress website and activate the plugin
  3. Configure the plugin settings by navigating to WooCommerce > Settings > ChatEasy

Yes, this sets up a link between WooCommerce and ChatEasy.

This plugin requires WooCommerce version 5.9 or higher.

How can I install the plugin?

You can install the plugin in two ways:

  • Install from WP Dashboard: Log into WP dashboard then click Plugins > Add new > Then under the title “Install Plugins” click Upload > choose the zip > Activate the plugin!
  • Install from FTP: Extract the zip file and drop the contents in the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WP installation and then activate the Plugin from Plugins page.
