Add your own tabs to WooCommerce product pages — size guide, shipping, warranty, ingredients, downloads — and manage the standard ones. Works with classic themes and block themes (the Product Details block, both the tab and the accordion version), compatible with HPOS.
Moving from YIKES Custom Product Tabs? One click copies every product’s tabs and your saved tabs. YIKES data is only read, never changed, and the import can be run again without creating duplicates.
Features
- Unlimited custom tabs on every product: title, content in the WordPress editor (images, shortcodes, embeds), position, on/off.
- Tab library: write a tab once, show it on every product or add it to chosen products; edit it once and it changes everywhere.
- Standard tabs: rename, hide or move Description, Additional information and Reviews (“Reviews (3)” keeps its counter).
- Import from YIKES Custom Product Tabs: product tabs, saved tabs (linked, not copied) and global saved tabs; YIKES tabs are hidden on the storefront after the import so nothing shows twice.
- Classic templates and block themes; the accordion Product Details block gets the custom tabs as sections, renaming and hiding apply there too.
- Tabs are product meta only — no order data, HPOS compatible.
- English, Ukrainian and Russian interface.
Installation
- Upload the plugin and activate it (WooCommerce must be active).
- Edit a product Product data “Custom tabs” “Add tab”.
- Shared tabs and the standard tabs: WooCommerce Product Tabs.
- Coming from YIKES: WooCommerce Product Tabs “Import from YIKES” “Import tabs”. Check a few products, then deactivate YIKES.

Does the import change or delete my YIKES tabs?

No. The import only reads YIKES data. Deactivating or deleting YIKES afterwards is up to you.

My tabs showed twice after the import

The import switches on “Hide YIKES tabs” (WooCommerce Product Tabs Settings). If you imported and then turned it off, turn it back on or deactivate YIKES.

Does it work with block themes?

Yes. The default single-product template and the Product Details block read the same WooCommerce tab list, so custom tabs appear there. In the accordion version of the block they appear as extra sections.

The tab content runs shortcodes?

Yes — shortcodes, embeds, blocks and paragraphs are processed like post content. To run the full
the_contentfilter instead, addadd_filter( 'catcode_ptm_use_the_content', '__return_true' );. -
What happens to my tabs if I delete the plugin?

They stay in the database unless you tick “Delete data on uninstall” in the settings.
