This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

This plugin will keep track of what browser your viewers are using and display it as a percentage in a widget. It is set up to track only unique hits.

  1. Upload browser_stats.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Drag the Browser Stats widget to your sidebar in the widgets section of the presentation tab in your admin area.

Why don’t the the bars match the actual number percentage?

Internet Explorer 6 seems to have a negative reaction to the CSS that creates the bars, The number percentage is accurate though.

Why does the widget stick out past the sidebar?

The information is displayed in a table that has a defined height and width which might not fit within your sidebar, look for an auto-scaling widget in later versions.
