Boostanova AI Shopping Assistant adds an AI-powered chat widget to your WooCommerce store.
It reads your product catalog and answers customer questions instantly — no license key or manual setup required to get started.
What it does:
- Product Q&A — answers questions about sizes, availability, materials, and differences between products
- Smart recommendations — suggests matching products with direct links to product pages
- Lead capture — when the AI cannot answer, it collects the customer’s name and contact, and sends a notification to your Telegram
- Multilingual — native-quality answers in Ukrainian, Russian, and English
- 2-minute setup — install the plugin and the widget is live immediately. No license key needed for the free plan.
How it works
The plugin securely syncs your WooCommerce product catalog to our cloud service (Boostanova AI), where AI processing happens. The chat widget on your storefront communicates with that service in real time. All AI computation runs in the cloud — no extra load on your hosting server.
Privacy
Chat messages and product data are processed by our external AI service. See the External Services section and our Privacy Policy for details on what data is transmitted and how it is stored.

External Services
This plugin connects to the Boostanova AI Shopping Assistant cloud API operated by Boostanova
(https://boostanova.com) to provide AI-powered chat responses.
What data is sent
- Product catalog data (titles, descriptions, prices, stock status, URLs, images) — during catalog sync
- Visitor chat messages — when a visitor sends a message in the chat widget
- Lead contact data (name, phone or email) — when a visitor submits the lead form
- Store URL and settings (language, currency, welcome message) — on first activation
When it is sent
- On plugin activation (store registration)
- When a product is created or updated in WooCommerce
- Once daily via WP-Cron (full catalog sync)
- When a visitor sends a message in the chat widget
- When a visitor submits the lead form

Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/and activate it via the Plugins menu - Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active
- Go to WooCommerce AI Assistant
- The chat widget is active immediately on the free plan — no license key needed
- To unlock Pro features, enter your license key from https://boostanova.com

Do I need a license key to use the plugin?

No. The free plan works out of the box — just install, activate, and the chat widget is live. A license key is only required to unlock Pro features such as unlimited messages, Telegram notifications, and widget color customization.

Does it slow down my site?

No. All AI processing happens in the cloud. The chat widget is under 30 KB of vanilla JavaScript with no external dependencies.

Which languages are supported?

The assistant answers in Ukrainian, Russian, or English — configured in the plugin settings. It adapts to the language you select regardless of the visitor’s browser language.

Where do collected leads go?

Leads are stored in the plugin backend database and (on Pro plan) sent as instant Telegram notifications to the chat ID you configure in settings.

Is my product data safe?

Yes. Product data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely in our Supabase database. It is used only to power AI answers for your store and is never shared with third parties.

What happens when a visitor asks something the AI cannot answer?

The AI recognizes when it does not have enough information and offers to collect the visitor’s contact details so your team can follow up. This behavior is called lead capture.

Can I customize the widget?

On the free plan you can set a custom welcome message. Widget color customization is available on the Pro plan.

Does it work without WooCommerce?

No. Boostanova AI Shopping Assistant requires WooCommerce to be installed and active.
